Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Jesus, thank You for Your 33 years down here from the Holy Spirit overshadowing Your birth in the manger to the shepherds, magi, temple, Your hidden years, humbling Yourself to get baptized by the prominent historical figure, JOHN THE BAPTIST, followed especially by the action-packed 3+ years of ministry: teachings, miracles, loaves, fish, nets of fish, resurrections, blind eyes, lame walking, poor hearing the gospel -- the prophecies, living in community with the disciples just "doing life" from Your perspective (reality), putting up with our unbelief, the distortions of the Pharisees and Sadducees, their constant watching You, attempts to trap and trick You -- literally, like WOW -- and finally Your betrayal, rejection and letting Barabbas loose instead... All the self-restraint You showed, the suffering, unjustly in my and our stead and sacrificial death on the cross for my and our sins, shame, sickness... Your burial, resurrection, appearing and teaching for 40 days, ascension, and sending forth The Holy Spirit, our counselor, advocate, intercessor, and bearer of good gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-8.

Thank You Your sheep hear Your voice, John 10:27, and will never follow a stranger, John 10:5. We NEED to hear Your voice of direction -- It is written, "as many as are LED by the HOLY SPIRIT are the children of God," Rom 8:14. We ask to be FILLED with the knowledge of Your Will in all spiritual wisdom so we can walk worthy, Col 1:9-10. We ask for generous amounts of practical WISDOM, James 1:5, we cry out for wisdom and lift our voice for UNDERSTANDING, Prov 2:6-7. So with confidence we seek YOU for YOU are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You, Heb 11:6. With thanksgiving we offer our requests for Your voice, leading and wisdom -- let "now" the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. Thank You for protecting us and praying for us, keeping us from the evil one, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, Jn 17:15. We shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, Isa 55:12, thank You for everything, especially for hearing when we ask, for in hearing, we have, 1 John 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We join with you in this beautiful and comprehensive thanksgiving and petition and we say amen to your cry to hear the Shepherd's voice and to be led by the Holy Spirit.

We love how you have rehearsed the whole story of our Lord Jesus, from the Holy Spirit overshadowing His birth, through His hidden years, His baptism by John the Baptist, His three years of ministry with all His teachings and miracles, His suffering and self restraint before the Pharisees and Sadducees, His betrayal and rejection when Barabbas was released instead, His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins and shame and sickness, His burial and resurrection and forty days of appearing and His ascension and sending forth the Holy Spirit our Counselor and Advocate. What a Savior we have who learned obedience and now ever lives to intercede for us.

We agree with you in prayer for that intimate leading and wisdom. It is written, John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and John 10:5 They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they don’t know the voice of strangers. We claim that promise together that as His sheep we will discern His voice above every other voice and will not follow a stranger.

We pray together that we will walk as children of God led by the Spirit, for Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. We ask with you to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, as in Col 1:9 For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that we may walk worthily of the Lord and bear fruit in every good work.

We ask our Father liberally for wisdom, for James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, and we remember Prov 2:6 For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. We lift our voice for understanding and cry out for discernment, trusting Heb 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. We are seeking Him diligently and we trust He will reward us with His guidance.

We bring all these requests with thanksgiving as you prayed, and we receive His peace, for Phil 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let that peace guard our hearts and minds right now. We also claim Isa 55:12 For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace, that our going out and coming in will be led forth with joy and peace by His Spirit.

We thank Him that He is praying for us and keeping us from the evil one, for Rom 8:34 Christ Jesus, he who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us, and Heb 7:25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them, and John 17:15 I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.

So Father in Jesus name we agree together, fill us with wisdom, let us clearly hear the Shepherd's voice, lead us by Your Holy Spirit in every decision, and let Your peace which passes understanding be the umpire of our hearts. We have confidence that You hear us, for 1 John 5:14-15 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. We thank You that in hearing we have already received. We continue to seek Your face and Your Word, for it is through Scripture illuminated by the Spirit that we most clearly hear Your voice. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We were so encouraged by your prayer, the way you trace Jesus' whole story with gratitude, from His birth to His ministry among people, to the cross and resurrection and the gift of the Holy Spirit who stays with us. It is beautiful to see that thankfulness and that deep desire to be led well.

Wanting to hear the Shepherd's voice clearly and to walk in wisdom is at the heart of following Him. We have found that His leading often comes less as a single dramatic moment and more as a quiet, steady process, through His truth, through the inner promptings of the Spirit, and through the kind of character that grows over time as we stay close to Him. Power, truth and love belong together, and He shapes all three in us as we keep seeking.

One simple rhythm that has helped many who long for that clarity is to keep a short, unhurried space each day to pray and listen, note what you sense, and then gently test it, does it line up with Scripture, does it bear the fruit of peace and love, and what do wise, trusted believers around you see as well. That practice of staying filled and attentive often makes His direction clearer step by step.

Father, we thank You for our brother/sister who is seeking You so earnestly. We ask You to draw near as Counselor and Helper, fill them with knowledge of Your will and steady wisdom for each decision before them, and guard their heart and mind with Your peace. Lead them in the way You have for them, and help them recognize Your voice and follow with confidence, in Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is much to give thanks for in your prayer, for you have rehearsed the great mercies of our Lord from the manger to the cross, from the cross to the resurrection and ascension, and the sending of the Holy Spirit who is our Counselor and Advocate. Blessed be His name, that He did not leave us comfortless, but having borne our sins and shame and sickness in His own body on the tree, He now ever lives to intercede for us and keeps us from the evil one.

You desire above all to hear the Shepherd's voice, and this is the mark of His sheep, for Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Remember that the infinite God has thoughts of peace towards you, and His thoughts toward His people are always thoughts of peace through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. He seeks your peace, He creates your peace, He sustains your peace. When you put your ear down to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul, you will find that His voice is not an uncertain whisper but the sure Word which He has magnified. The mere letter alone will not profit, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power. Take heed therefore how you hear, and hear with a simple and lowly heart, desiring to know His truth that you may sincerely live it.

You ask to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom, and to receive generous wisdom for the way before you. This is a prayer He delights to answer, for He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, and if any lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives liberally. Awe of God's Word and love for God's law bring great peace, for His precepts give peace of conscience and His promises are our great peace in the hour of need. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not the absence of thronging duties or sorrows surging round, but the presence of Christ within, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. When your will is brought to delight in God's will, the fangs of the serpent are extracted and the sorrow is sucked out of the sorrow by the lips of acquiescence.

So with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, as you have done, and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. You shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God, and He will not suffer you to follow a stranger.

May the Lord grant you a still and stayed mind upon Christ, a ready ear for His Word, and a heart made wise by His Spirit to walk worthy of Him in all well pleasing. May He guard you in that perfect peace today, and cause you to know that when you ask according to His will He hears you, and in hearing, you have the petitions you have desired of Him. We join our faith with yours and ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

We give thanks with you for this prayer and join you in lifting it before the Lord who hears when we ask according to His will.

Your desire to hear the Shepherd's voice is itself a mark of belonging to Him, for Jesus said His sheep hear His voice and follow Him and will not follow a stranger. That voice comes to us not as a vague feeling but through His Word and teaching, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. As you seek to be led by the Holy Spirit, remember that those who are led by the Spirit are the children of God, and the Spirit never leads contrary to the Scriptures He inspired.

We pray with you to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. The wisdom you ask for is not the wisdom of this world which comes to nothing, but the hidden wisdom of God which He prepared for our glory. The world counts the wisdom of God as foolishness, and yet it is far greater, because it does not trust in itself but receives help from the Spirit. God gives this wisdom generously to those who ask in faith, and He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

We also pray that the peace of God, which is fixed and steadfast, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus and rule within you. When two thoughts wrestle inside us, one urging revenge or anxiety and the other urging patience and trust, let the peace of God act as umpire. Human peace often comes from insisting on our own way, but the peace Christ left comes from His reconciling work, by which He made peace with us while we were still far off. That peace does not always mean the absence of conflict in the world, for Christ Himself said He came to bring a sword where truth divides from error, but it does mean steadiness within, because we are kept by Him who lives to intercede for us.

So we ask the Lord to keep you from the evil one, to protect you as He promised, and to lead you forth with joy and peace. May He, who overshadowed the manger, who taught the crowds, who bore our sins and shame on the cross, who was buried and raised and ascended and sent the Holy Spirit as Counselor and Advocate, grant you clear direction, practical wisdom for each step, and confidence that He is praying for you even now.

We thank God that when we bring our requests with thanksgiving, His peace stands guard over us, and that when we ask according to His will, we can trust that He hears and answers for our good and His glory, in Jesus' name, Amen.
