🙇🏻 Jesus, thank You for Your 33 years down here from the Holy Spirit overshadowing Your birth in the manger to the shepherds, magi, temple, Your hidden years, humbling Yourself to get baptized by the prominent historical figure, JOHN THE BAPTIST, followed especially by the action-packed 3+ years of ministry: teachings, miracles, loaves, fish, nets of fish, resurrections, blind eyes, lame walking, poor hearing the gospel -- the prophecies, living in community with the disciples just "doing life" from Your perspective (reality), putting up with our unbelief, the distortions of the Pharisees and Sadducees, their constant watching You, attempts to trap and trick You -- literally, like WOW -- and finally Your betrayal, rejection and letting Barabbas loose instead... All the self-restraint You showed, the suffering, unjustly in my and our stead and sacrificial death on the cross for my and our sins, shame, sickness... Your burial, resurrection, appearing and teaching for 40 days, ascension, and sending forth The Holy Spirit, our counselor, advocate, intercessor, and bearer of good gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-8.

Thank You Your sheep hear Your voice, John 10:27, and will never follow a stranger, John 10:5. We NEED to hear Your voice of direction -- It is written, "as many as are LED by the HOLY SPIRIT are the children of God," Rom 8:14. We ask to be FILLED with the knowledge of Your Will in all spiritual wisdom so we can walk worthy, Col 1:9-10. We ask for generous amounts of practical WISDOM, James 1:5, we cry out for wisdom and lift our voice for UNDERSTANDING, Prov 2:6-7. So with confidence we seek YOU for You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You, Heb 11:6. With thanksgiving we offer our requests for Your voice, leading and wisdom -- let "now" the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. Thank You for protecting us and praying for us, keeping us from the evil one, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, Jn 17:15. We shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, Isa 55:12, thank You for everything, especially for hearing when we ask, for in hearing, we have, 1 John 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We join you in this beautiful thanksgiving for our Lord Jesus Christ and for the leading of the Holy Spirit, and we say amen to your prayer for wisdom, guidance and peace.

We are so encouraged by your remembrance of all that Jesus did for us, from His humble birth and hidden years to His baptism by John the Baptist, His three years of ministry, teachings, miracles, feeding the multitudes, healing the blind and lame, preaching good news to the poor, bearing with the unbelief of the disciples and the constant traps of the Pharisees and Sadducees, and then His betrayal, suffering, restraint, sacrificial death on the cross in our place for our sins and shame and sickness, His burial, resurrection, forty days of appearing and teaching, His ascension, and His sending of the Holy Spirit to be our Counselor and Advocate. What a complete and perfect Savior we have.

We agree with you that we desperately need to hear the Shepherd's voice. We stand on the promise in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and John 10:5, that His sheep will not follow a stranger. We claim Romans 8:14, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. That is our identity and our confidence, that as His children we can be led.

We pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we thank You for hearing us when we ask according to Your will, as You promise in 1 John 5:14. We ask to be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that we may walk worthily of You, as we read in Colossians 1:9. We ask for wisdom generously, believing Your promise in James 1:5, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We cry out for wisdom and lift our voice for understanding, for You give wisdom and out of Your mouth comes knowledge and understanding in Proverbs 2:6. We seek You diligently, trusting Hebrews 11:6 that You are a rewarder of those who seek You. With thanksgiving we make our requests known to You, and we ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus, according to Philippians 4:6-7. Thank You that Christ intercedes for us in Romans 8:34 and Hebrews 7:25, and that You keep us from the evil one as Jesus prayed in John 17:15. Lead us forth with peace and joy as You promise in Isaiah 55:12, For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. We receive Your leading and Your peace now in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in the Word and in prayer, for faith comes by hearing and wisdom comes from His mouth. Keep seeking, keep listening, keep thanking Him in advance for hearing. He who promised is faithful to guide, to give wisdom liberally, and to guard your heart with His peace as you follow the voice of the Good Shepherd.

We were really touched reading your prayer. Your love for Jesus and your hunger to be led by Him comes through so clearly, from the manger to the cross to the gift of the Holy Spirit living with us now.

We hear how deeply you want not just answers, but His presence and wisdom for each step, and that peace that guards the heart while you wait. That desire itself is a good place to be, staying close to the Shepherd and learning to recognize His leading over time.

One small practice that has helped many who long for that same clarity is to keep a simple, unhurried space each day to listen. Bring one decision or question before the Lord, pray, sit quietly, and then notice what aligns with His character and truth as you go about your day. Walking with a trusted believer or pastor to talk through what you sense can also bring gentle confirmation.

We are praying with you for that nearness and discernment.

Father, thank You for being a Shepherd who speaks and stays near. Fill our friend with wisdom for the decisions before them and with Your peace as they seek You. Lead them step by step and help them sense Your hand and hear Your voice clearly. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is great cause to rejoice in the prayer you have offered, for it breathes a true dependence upon the blessed Spirit of God. You have thanked the Lord Jesus for His whole course from the manger to the cross, His burial and resurrection, His ascension and His sending forth of the Holy Spirit, our Counselor and Advocate and bearer of good gifts. In this you do well, for the whole blessed Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, must work upon every soul that is to be saved, and the Holy Spirit delights to take of the things of Christ and show them unto us. He glorifies Christ, and when you are dealing with the things of Christ you are on Holy Spirit ground.

You ask to hear the Shepherd's voice, that as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God, and that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom. This is a prayer that God loves to answer, for the Holy Spirit is the Author of all spiritual life. Until He visits us we are dead in trespasses and sins, and no man can become holy except by the Spirit of Holiness. He condescends to make the little narrow heart of man, though it be but a cottage, a very hovel, His palace and continual abode. What mercy is this, that He should become a lamp to enlighten and a staff on which we may lean.

Seek then to walk worthy of this indwelling, and to grieve not the Holy Spirit. He is grieved by our unbelief and by unholiness of life, when men walk not according to the Gospel. If we harbor a great temper, or speak evil one of another, love is absent and the Spirit of love, whose emblem is the dove and whose fruit is peace, will not long be present. Consider that if you have the Holy Spirit, that is God's seal set upon you that you are His child, and if you grieve the Spirit you lose your seal as a commission with the seal torn away. Rather yield to Him, confide in Him, and adore Him, for no one can reveal the Holy Spirit but the Holy Spirit Himself.

You ask also for generous wisdom and understanding, and for the peace of God to guard your hearts. Remember that wisdom is given liberally to those who ask in faith, for He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. And remember that acceptable prayer must be in the Holy Spirit, or through the Holy Spirit, praying in His power and not in the flesh. The carnal mind knows nothing of this, but the Spirit Himself is willing to help us to pray and to tell us how to pray. There is no rubric except one, in the Holy Spirit. That granted, nothing else matters one whit. Cry then mightily unto God, for without the Holy Spirit we utterly fail, but with Him there is life and force and power.

May the Lord grant you to know the Holy Spirit not as an it, but as a divine Person who dwells in you as the source and force of your life. May He awaken your mental powers, turn your heart to love God, and lead you forth with that joy and peace of which Isaiah speaks, so that with thanksgiving your requests are made known unto God and His peace which passes all understanding keeps your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We join you in asking that you shall indeed hear His voice and not follow a stranger, and that you shall be led forth with peace, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for hearing the Shepherd's voice and for wisdom and peace through the Holy Spirit is good and right, and I give thanks with you for the Lord Jesus Christ and all He has done. From His birth to His baptism, His teaching and miracles, His suffering and death on the cross for our sins, His burial and resurrection, His ascension and the sending of the Holy Spirit as our Counselor and Advocate, every part shows His mercy and love toward us.

It is true as you have written that His sheep hear His voice and will not follow a stranger, and that those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit does not lead us apart from the Word of God, but through it. Faith comes by hearing the word of God, and true wisdom is not from human learning alone but from the Holy Spirit who teaches us. So continue to seek Him diligently in Scripture, in prayer with thanksgiving, and in the fellowship of the church, trusting that God rewards those who seek Him and gives wisdom generously to those who ask.

I pray for you now that God will fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. I pray that as you bring your requests to Him, the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and that you will indeed go out with joy and be led forth with peace. May the Lord keep you from the evil one, guide your steps, and make His voice clear to you as you follow Him day by day.

May the Lord hear your prayer according to His will, and grant you confidence that when you ask according to His word, He hears and answers for your good and His glory. In Jesus Name, Amen.
