šŸ‘ The Shepherd's Voice -- Leading, Wisdom, Guidance & Peace of The Holy Spirit, Jn 10:27, Rom 8:14, Col 1:9, Jam 1:5, Heb 11:6, Isa 55:12, Phil 4:6-7

Jesus, Your sheep hear Your voice, John 10:27, and will never follow a stranger, John 10:5. We NEED to hear Your voice of direction -- It is written, "as many as are LED by the HOLY SPIRIT are the children of God," Rom 8:14. We ask to be FILLED with the knowledge of Your Will in all spiritual wisdom so we can walk worthy, Col 1:9-10. We ask for generous amounts of practical WISDOM, James 1:5, we cry out for wisdom and lift our voice for UNDERSTANDING, Prov 2:6-7. So with confidence we seek YOU for You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You, Heb 11:6. With thanksgiving we offer our requests for Your voice, leading and wisdom -- let "now" the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. We shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, Isa 55:12, thank You for hearing, for in hearing, we have, 1 John 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name, amen.

We join with you in this beautiful and scripturally grounded cry for the Shepherd's voice and we say amen to your prayer. We are so encouraged by your hunger to be led by the Holy Spirit and to walk in wisdom and we stand in agreement with you for clear direction and settled peace.

Your prayer reflects the heart of a true sheep who knows the Shepherd. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, John 10:27, and a stranger they will not follow, John 10:5. We are comforted that as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God, Rom 8:14. We too ask with you that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, Col 1:9-10, and we claim the promise that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. For Yahweh gives wisdom, out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding, Prov 2:6, and he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, Heb 11:6.

We pray together now for you. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving. We thank You that You are our Shepherd and we shall not want, and that You lead us beside still waters and restore our soul. We ask that You tune our ears to hear Your voice above every other voice and to follow You without hesitation. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit and with all spiritual wisdom and understanding that we may discern Your perfect will and walk worthy of You. Pour out generous wisdom for every decision before us, practical wisdom for daily steps and spiritual wisdom for eternal purposes. We receive Your promise that when we present our requests to You with thanksgiving, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. Let that peace be our umpire now, confirming Your leading. We declare by faith that we shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace, Isa 55:12, and we thank You that this is the confidence which we have in You, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You listen to us and we have the petitions which we have asked of You, 1 John 5:14-15. Lead us, guide us, and let Your wisdom be evident in our lives for Your glory, in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in His Word daily, for His voice will never contradict His written Word, and the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth, John 16:13. Keep seeking, keep asking, and keep knocking, and keep your heart in that place of thanksgiving and trust, and His peace will indeed guard you and make your path clear.

We hear how deeply you want to hear the Shepherd clearly and walk in step with Him, not just know about Him but be led by Him with wisdom and peace. That longing to be directed is itself evidence of His work in you, and we are grateful to pray with you in it.

What has helped many of us when guidance feels so urgent is to make a little more room to actually listen. The Spirit is our Counselor and Helper, present with us, and His leading often comes as a quiet inner prompting rather than a loud answer. We learn to recognize it as it lines up with the truth of Scripture and bears the fruit of love and peace over time, even while we are still waiting.

One simple practice you might try this week is to bring just one decision or question before the Lord in unhurried prayer, then sit in quiet without trying to solve it. Keep Scripture open nearby, and notice what stays with you. It can also help to share what you sense with a trusted mature believer who can help you test it with wisdom and care.

Father, we thank You for this heart that wants to hear You and follow You. We ask You to draw near, quiet what is noisy, and give clear wisdom for each next step. Guard this dear one's heart and mind with Your peace as they wait on You, and form them more into the likeness of Christ day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing to hear the Shepherd's voice is itself a token of His grace at work within you, for His sheep do hear His voice and they will not follow a stranger. It is a blessed thing to put your ear down to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul, for the mere letter alone will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power.

You have asked well, according to the Scriptures, for wisdom and guidance and the peace of God. Remember that the infinite God has thoughts of peace towards you, and He is at peace with His people through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. He seeks your peace, He creates your peace, He sustains your peace, and thus all His thoughts toward you are peace. Believe also that His thoughts are toward you for your refining and that He designs your highest good. If your will is brought to delight in God's will, then the fangs of the serpent are extracted and the sorrow is sucked out of the sorrow by the lips of acquiescence.

You ask to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom. Take heed how you hear, for faith comes by hearing and it is while you are hearing the Gospel that you are led to believe it. The Word deserves good hearing. It comes from God. It is about your immortal soul and about Him who died for sinners. Come to hear the Gospel as God's voice to you and therefore as in God's presence with a simple and lowly heart, desiring to know His truth that you may sincerely live it. Awe of God's Word is a main element in that love of God's law which brings great peace, and great peace have they which love thy law. That peace is not the absence of outward strife, but a great restfulness of intellect and heart when the mind is stayed upon the Lord, because it trusts in Him. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You.

You cry out for wisdom and lift your voice for understanding, and the Lord has promised that if any lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives generously and without reproach. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Seek Him still, not with a fitful and occasional hearing, but with constant, attentive, earnest hearing of the Word, and with your voice crying unto God in private prayer. The use of the voice in prayer is not essential, but when men grow earnest they use the voice as well as the mind, and you will find it helpful to cry unto God with your voice and expect deliverance from Him.

And you ask for the peace of God to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. That peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. The more the conscience is enlightened, the more it will forbid peace as long as sin remains, for sin deserves God's wrath and must be punished, but through the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, we are cleansed from all sin and justified before God. Therefore cast all your care upon Him with thanksgiving and supplication, and let your requests be made known unto God.

We join you in prayer that the Lord would fill you with all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthy of Him, that you would be clearly led by the Holy Spirit as His child, that you would hear the Shepherd's voice and follow Him, and that the peace of God which passes all understanding would keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus, so that you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. May His own Spirit make you feel that the thoughts of the Lord toward you are peace, and may you rejoice at His Word as one that finds great spoil, in Jesus' Name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How encouraging to hear your sincere desire to be led by the Holy Spirit and to walk in the wisdom and peace of Christ. Your prayer echoes the Scriptures so well, and God delights to answer those who seek Him in this way.

You have asked to hear the Shepherd's voice, and Jesus has promised that His sheep do hear His voice and follow Him. To be led by the Spirit is indeed the mark of the children of God, as Romans 8:14 teaches, and it is the Spirit who makes the words of Christ living and powerful in us, not merely human ideas. True wisdom does not come from persuasive words of human wisdom, but from what the Holy Spirit teaches. Apart from the Spirit, even what seems wise in this world is shown to be foolishness, but when the Spirit works, He gives light and understanding that we could never attain on our own.

So I join you in praying that God will fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, as Paul prayed in Colossians 1:9. God promises in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask of God who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, and He has already shown His love for you by reconciling you to Himself through Christ. That peace with God is the foundation for the peace of God which guards your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus when you bring your requests to Him with thanksgiving, as Philippians 4:6-7 says. Through Christ we both have access in one Spirit to the Father, and Christ Himself came and preached peace.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this one who longs to hear Your voice and be led by Your Spirit. Fill this dear one with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom. Grant generous wisdom and understanding for every decision and step ahead. Let Your Holy Spirit lead clearly, and let Your peace, which passes all understanding, guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help Your child to trust not in human wisdom but in the demonstration of Your Spirit and power, to walk by faith, and to go out with joy and be led forth with peace according to Your promise in Isaiah 55:12. We ask this with confidence, believing You hear us when we ask according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.
