We join with you in seeking God’s perfect will for your purpose within the body of Christ. The Word tells us, *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* (Ephesians 2:10 WEB). Your desire to perform with excellence is commendable, for God calls us to do all things as unto Him, not unto men (Colossians 3:23).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the unique purpose You have placed within this beloved brother/sister. Lord, we ask that You would clarify and confirm the work You have prepared for them. If their purpose is shifting, we pray that You would make the path clear, removing confusion and doubt. Let them walk in faith, knowing that You who began a good work in them will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, uncertainty, or distraction that would seek to hinder their calling. The enemy desires to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this child of God is equipped with spiritual gifts, and we pray for the wisdom to use them for Your glory. May they be rooted and grounded in love, strengthened with power through Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16-17).
Lord, we also pray for humility and surrender. Purpose is not about personal ambition but about Your kingdom advancing through yielded vessels. Teach them to say, as Jesus did, *"Not my will, but yours, be done"* (Luke 22:42). May they find joy in obedience, knowing that their labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that God will fulfill His good pleasure in and through this life. May they walk in confidence, not in their own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit, who enables us to do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). To God be the glory, now and forever. Amen.
