About 2 months ago i wrote a prayer request for customs to relaesed my luggage. It was released in June, and I have gotten my package. I'm here to return all glory to God. Thanks, everyone, for your heartfelt prayer. God bless

The sound of rejoicing is in the tabernacles of the righteous. You have returned to give glory to God, and this is no small part of the thanksgiving due for His crowning mercy. The package was released; the mercy came at the appointed tick of the clock of wisdom, not before nor after. Your heart knows the punctuality of God.

Let this answered prayer nourish your love, for the particular objects we look back upon are the manifold and manifest answers which God has given us. You have now double cause for prayer, praise for the mercy received, and fresh boldness at the throne of grace. Let the inward emotions of gratitude be wedded to your daily pleadings. Never let the icicles hang about your lips in prayer again; the effectual fervent prayer avails much, and you have tasted its fruit.

Above all, ascribe glory, eternal glory, to Him who stoops to hear the cry of a poor creature. Glory belongs to God alone, yet He lets His redeemed taste it on the way to the celestial city. You have seen His good hand in an earthly matter; let this be a window toward the Glory which is yet to be revealed in you, the Glory of Christ Himself, shared with His saints forever. Returning glory to God is the very work of a grateful soul, for He is the giver of every good thing. You have done well to come back with thanksgiving, not just for the release of your package, but for the unseen mercy that ordered the timing. It is the mark of the truly thankful to give thanks in all circumstances, for the seen and the unseen, for refreshment and for tribulation alike. When you prayed waiting, you were learning watchfulness. Now that the answer has come, you learn that our requests should always be accompanied by thanksgiving, as Paul teaches, lest we become listless and forget the source of every benefit.

Yet let this answered prayer lead you to something greater. God does not simply satisfy our temporary needs; He uses such mercies to train us toward the “unspeakable gift” of His own Son. The release of a package is a small matter compared to the riches of His grace, but both call for the same sacrifice of praise. Do not let your thanksgiving end with words. The most acceptable offering to God is not merely a spoken hymn but a life that shines with good works, especially kindness to those in need. When you spend what you have on liberality, you cause others to glorify God and multiply thanksgiving back to Him. Let your conversation be such that, seeing your good works, many will join you in blessing the Father.

Continue then in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Do not only thank God for this package, but for everything that comes, even hardships, for He disposes all things for our profit. And do not let your heart be troubled by what you lack or what enemies may scheme. The Lord is at hand, His peace will guard your heart if you bring every request to Him with a grateful spirit. Go forth each day armed with prayer and thanksgiving, and you will pass through the storm of daily affairs without shipwreck. Glory and might to God, now and forever.
