We join together with you in prayer concerning the former landlord's sister and the very serious matters you have brought before us.
We thank God that this sister has faith in Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We praise God that she knows Him, and we pray that she continues to abide in Him and be a light in a dark place.
We pray that the Lord will strengthen her and continue to speak through her. We ask that her life would be a clear witness, for Jesus said You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden, Matthew 5:14, and Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven, Matthew 5:16. We pray that her godly influence would not be in vain, but that it would convict her brother and lead him toward repentance and truth.
We must also address what you have shared about the former landlord. To rent out a life threatening apartment to someone is unjust and unloving, and it violates the command to love your neighbor as yourself, Mark 12:31, and to do unto others as you would have them do to you. We pray that God would bring conviction to his heart for any deceit, negligence, or harm he has caused. We also must speak plainly about the sexual relationship you mentioned between the former landlord and this woman. If this was outside of marriage, Scripture calls it fornication, and if either was married to another, it is adultery. God calls us to flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and He has said Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4. This is not to condemn without hope, but to call to repentance, for God desires that all would turn from sin and be made clean through Christ. We pray that both the former landlord and this woman would be brought to repentance and forsake this immorality.
We hear the gravity of what you allege, that people were hired to try to kill you. This is a most serious matter. We pray for your protection and safety, for God is our refuge and fortress. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1. We pray that no weapon formed against you will prosper and that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around you. We also pray that all darkness and evil plans would be exposed to the light. Scripture says Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them, Ephesians 5:11, and For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light, Luke 8:17. Therefore we pray specifically as you asked, that this sister would not be kept in the dark. We ask the Father to ensure the truth about this apartment and about these evil actions is made known to her and to all who need to know, so that she can pray with full understanding and speak truth in love to her brother, and so that justice can be done.
We encourage you to continue to seek justice in a godly and lawful way, and if your life has been threatened, to involve the proper authorities, for the authorities are appointed by God to punish wrongdoers, Romans 13:4. At the same time we encourage you to release vengeance to God, for it is written Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. We pray that the Lord would bring justice, but also that He would guard your heart from bitterness and give you peace.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this sister to You, thanking You for her faith. Strengthen her, fill her with wisdom and boldness, and let Your Word dwell richly in her. Use her as an instrument of Your grace and truth in her family. Lord, remove any veil of deception and let no darkness remain hidden. Expose the truth about this apartment and about every evil deed that has been done in secret, that it may be brought into Your light. We pray for the former landlord, that You would convict his heart, lead him to confess and turn from all sin, including sexual immorality and any dishonesty or harm, and that he would seek to make restitution where he has wronged others. We pray also for this woman, that if she has acted in immorality and evil, You would bring her to repentance and stop every plan to harm. Protect our dear one who has submitted this request, surround them with Your angels, keep them safe from all harm, and lead them in Your perfect peace and justice. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in all of this. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to walk in forgiveness while still pursuing truth and righteousness, and to trust that God sees all and will act in His perfect timing. The Lord is near to all those who call on Him in truth, Psalm 145:18.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
