KEEP PRAYING UNTIL FATHERGOD ANWERS?

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for ### and , who are suffering from a severe cold. We know that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, and He cares deeply for their well-being. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring healing and relief.

Father, we lift up ### and to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon them. We pray that You would strengthen their bodies, ease their discomfort, and restore their health. Lord, You know their needs, and we ask that You provide the medicine they require. We trust in Your provision, as Your Word says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Open the doors for them to receive the care and medicine they need, and guide them to the resources that will bring relief.

We also want to gently remind them that our ultimate healing comes through faith in Jesus Christ. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus, we encourage them to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is by grace through faith that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease that is afflicting them. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for patience and perseverance as they wait on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Encourage their hearts, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in this time of need.

We continue to pray without ceasing, trusting that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your will. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We’re lifting all of you up, ### and the others, and you who are caring for them, asking God to bring relief and to provide the medicine you need right when you need it. We know how wearing a bad cold can be, and the added weight of not having medicine on hand only makes it heavier.

We love that you’re determined to keep praying until Father God answers. That kind of persistence isn’t just about the request; it draws our hearts closer to the One who hears us. Sometimes when an answer seems delayed, God is still at work, teaching us to lean on Him in ways we wouldn’t otherwise learn. It doesn’t mean He’s forgotten you, every day of this cold is still held in His hands.

While we keep asking God for healing and provision, we also encourage you to reach out for practical help if the illness lingers or gets worse. A visit to a clinic or a doctor can be a wise step, and sometimes God meets our needs through the hands of others in our community. If there’s a local church or neighbor who might help with medicine, don’t be afraid to ask. God often provides through His people.

Now, we pray with you:

Father God, we come to You in Jesus’ name, asking You to touch ### and these dear ones with Your healing power. Break the fever, ease the coughing, and restore their strength. You know they have no medicine, please send what they need, whether through a generous hand, a clear path to a clinic, or simply Your direct intervention. Quiet their worry, and let them sense Your nearness as they recover. And as they wait, keep their hope steady and their trust in You unshaken. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your cry has entered the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and He is not slow to hear the groaning of His children. A prayer wrung from the depths of need, even one that reels and staggers for lack of ordered words, is precious before His throne. When sickness lays you low and the medicine you lack is not at hand, remember that the Great Physician needs no apothecary’s vial, He speaks, and it is done. A word of His, recognized and clung to, brings healing to the body as surely as to the soul. He who forgave the palsied man and made him whole in one breath can touch your frame and banish this malady.

Do not cease to knock at mercy’s door. There are sacred instincts in faith that perceive the coming relief before it arrives, the sound of abundance of rain while the sky is yet cloudless. Continue much in prayer, not with a form, but with the passionate cry of the heart. Add force to your petitions; plead with all the arguments you can muster, just as Jacob wrestled and would not let go. A faithful soul will pray through until the answer comes, knowing that even little faith, when it begins to sink, can cry, “Lord, save me!” and that cry prevails.

The lack of medicine is no barrier to Him who made the body and sustains every breath. Yet, it is no sin to ask for common means; the same Lord who multiplied loaves can send the remedy your way. Lay your case before Him with humility, trusting not in the means but in Him alone. Those who are brought low, even to the gates of death, have a special ear from God. He delights to show His power where human help fails. The primrose blooms best after a cold night, and your soul may put forth its most sweet-scented faith when the wind of trial blows sharpest.

Let your prayer rise out of the low dungeon of your distress. Expect that He will be very pitiful, for He remembers our frame. The healing leaves of the Tree of Life are for every malady, and they are freely given. Only trust Him. Faith is the hand that takes all God offers. Whether the cure comes by a sudden word or through the gradual provision of medicine, His hand will be seen. Therefore, keep praying, not as one beating the air, but as one who knows that the King inclines His ear to the cry of the needy. The answer may not wear the exact shape you now imagine, but it will come, and you shall yet rise from this bed of languishing to glorify Him who heals all your diseases.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When the body is racked with fever and chill, the soul too grows weary. Yet this is the very season for the sickbed to become a school of patience. You cry out for medicine and find none at hand. Do not let this absence convince you that God has turned away. For often He permits the outward means to fail so that we may learn to lean more fully on His uncreated power. The Lord who made the body can also restore it without herbs or draughts, and if He chooses to use them, He can send them in ways we least expect.

Continue therefore in prayer, but not with anxious desperation, as though the Almighty needed your shouting to hear. Let your petition be mingled with thanksgiving, for He commands us to give glory to God in sickness as well as in health. Remember Job, who when he was stripped of health and substance, did not sin with his lips. He wrestled nobly, and when the devil saw that he served God not for gain, then God restored to him all things in greater measure. So may it be with you: this cold, however severe, is a light affliction compared to the eternal weight of glory it can produce if you bear it with faith.

I beseech you, do not heed the thought that your prayers are falling to the ground. As a tree receives many blows before it falls, so the answer may come after many prayers, yet the ones that seemed unheard have been preparing the root. The eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you; and you, as a member of Christ’s body, are not alone. Call upon the brethren to pray with you, and let them search out any remedy that mercy may provide. For the Lord often works through the hands of His people, so that the gift may come from many and the thanksgiving be multiplied.

Above all, while you wait for relief, do not let this sickness pass without spiritual profit. Examine yourselves whether any fever of sin has weakened the inward man. The body’s pain is a sharp teacher, a medicine for the soul if we receive it humbly. Offer your discomfort to God as a sweet-smelling sacrifice, joined to the sufferings of Christ, and it shall ascend to heaven more swiftly than any incense. Then, whether you are healed speedily or must endure a little longer, you will have laid hold on a cure that no earthly medicine can give, the healing of the heart. Persevere, and you will see the loving-kindness of the Lord in the land of the living.

It is miserable to be laid low with a bad cold, especially when the medicine that could bring comfort is out of reach. That sense of helplessness can be heavy, but you have come to the right place. We are joining our voices with yours, asking the Father to send help and healing swiftly. He is not distant or indifferent to the needs of your body.

Think of how Jesus dealt with sickness when He walked among us. He healed Peter’s mother-in-law with a touch, and by evening a whole crowd of the afflicted were brought to Him. Sometimes He spoke a word from a distance, and a centurion’s servant was made whole that very hour. He was never locked into a single pattern. Even under the old covenant, God gave Israel a surprising provision: though leprosy was incurable by any human means, He provided a law for the leper in the day of his cleansing. He left room to work a miracle whenever He chose. So do not let the lack of medicine convince you that all paths are closed. The Lord who parted seas and calmed fevers is still able to act.

Healing often comes through means we can touch, like the medicine you are asking for, and it would be right to pray that He moves someone to share what you lack. Many times He sends relief through the kindness of others, through a knock on the door or an unexpected gift. At other times His hand rests directly on a sick body and the sickness simply lifts. I believe in both. I believe in gradual restoration as well, the kind where strength returns little by little, no less a work of God because it follows the natural course He designed.

As you wait, remember that a faithful answer to prayer is like a drink of cold water to a thirsty soul, refreshing beyond words. We will keep on praying with you, not giving up, trusting that He will show Himself strong. And if the healing tarries, do not let your heart grow cold or discouraged. The deepest sickness, the sin that would separate us from God forever, has already been cured through the broken body of Jesus. That is the unshakable foundation under every other request.

Lift your head. We are asking the Lord to break this fever, ease the pain, and open a way for the medicine to reach you quickly. Keep expecting. Keep looking to Jesus, who bore our infirmities and still carries our sorrows. He hears.
