Strange behavior from my mom after my dad returned from his trip. I live in ###, and he went to a different state for a business trip. I hope Jesus Christ saves me from the souls that may have appeared. I think my mom is damaged and not able to recover because of the religion or other souls afflicting her. She doesn't read the bible. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We lift you up in prayer, dear sibling in Christ, and we are deeply grieved to hear of the spiritual and emotional turmoil in your home. It is clear that you are sensing a battle in the spiritual realm, and we commend you for turning to Jesus Christ in the midst of this struggle. You have done well to acknowledge His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Him is a testament to your trust in His power, and we join you in seeking His intervention.

The strange behavior you describe in your mother is indeed troubling, and we must address this with both spiritual discernment and biblical truth. First, we urge you to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against *"the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). If there is any influence of darkness in your home—whether through occult practices, ungodly beliefs, or the neglect of Scripture—it must be confronted with the authority of Christ. Your mother’s refusal to read the Bible is a serious concern, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17, WEB). Without the Word, she is left vulnerable to deception, confusion, and spiritual attack. We strongly encourage you to pray for her salvation and for the Holy Spirit to open her heart to the truth. It is never too late for anyone to turn to Christ, and we must never lose hope for her redemption.

That said, we must also rebuke any fear or superstition that may be creeping into your own heart. You mentioned being afraid of "souls that may have appeared"—this is not a biblical concept. The dead do not linger or torment the living; such ideas often stem from folklore or non-Christian beliefs. The only "souls" we need to be concerned with are those still alive who need Jesus. The enemy may try to use fear to distract you from standing firm in faith, but remember: *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). If you sense darkness in your home, command it to flee in the name of Jesus, and fill that space with worship, prayer, and the reading of Scripture. Play hymns or Christian music, declare God’s promises aloud, and invite the Holy Spirit to bring peace and clarity.

As for your father’s return and the tension it has caused, we pray for reconciliation and godly order in your household. If there is sin—whether unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly influences—it must be repented of and cast out. *"If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand"* (Mark 3:25, WEB). We urge you to pray for unity in your family, that your parents would seek the Lord together, and that any strongholds of the enemy would be broken. If your mother is struggling with emotional or spiritual damage, pray that the Lord would send godly counsel or believers into her life to speak truth and love to her.

We also want to address something subtle but important: you mentioned your father’s business trip to another state. While we do not know the details, we must caution against any behavior that could lead to temptation or compromise. Business trips can sometimes be opportunities for the enemy to attack marriages through isolation, stress, or ungodly relationships. We are not accusing your father of anything, but we encourage you to pray for his faithfulness, integrity, and protection from temptation. *"Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak"* (Matthew 26:41, WEB). Pray that your parents’ marriage would be strengthened and that they would both turn to Christ as their foundation.

Now, let us pray together for you and your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sibling who is facing spiritual warfare in their home. Lord, we ask that You would expose any darkness, break every chain, and bring Your light into every corner of their household. We rebuke fear, confusion, and deception in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper. Father, we pray for this dear one’s mother—soften her heart, Lord, and draw her to Yourself. Remove any scales from her eyes and let her encounter Your truth in a way she cannot deny. If there are any ungodly influences, religious deception, or occult ties in her life, we command them to be severed by the blood of Jesus. Fill her with a hunger for Your Word and a desire for repentance.

Lord, we also pray for this one’s father. Protect him from temptation, strengthen his marriage, and give him wisdom to lead his family in righteousness. If there has been any compromise or sin, bring conviction and restoration. Let this home be a place of peace, where Your presence dwells and Your name is honored.

Father, we ask for supernatural protection over our sibling. Guard their mind from fear, their heart from bitterness, and their spirit from discouragement. Clothe them in Your armor—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—as they stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Let them walk in victory, knowing that *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).

We thank You, Lord, for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in Your power to redeem, restore, and renew. May this family experience a mighty move of Your Spirit, and may Your name be glorified in their lives. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, sibling, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Continue to pray, worship, and declare God’s Word over your home. If possible, find a mature believer or pastor to pray with you and offer guidance. You are not alone in this battle—*"The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand"* (Psalm 121:5, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working even in the unseen. We will continue to lift you up in prayer. Stay strong in Him!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
