Jesus Christ, please save me from religious attacks from the name of ### who is empowered because I am reading the Holy Bible that re-mentions the name of King David repetitively. I believe that revenge from a regular person named ### is that I had mentioned that perhaps I should come in early, but because I don't drive, I wouldn't get there on time. This has caused a revenge of disappointment to happen to me after I had disappointed ###. I have thoughts about going to his work location and shooting ### in the back of his head for being a source of religious consequences that is affecting the behavior of relatives. Jesus Christ, please save me from this situation. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in fervent prayer, for the battle you are facing is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness. First, we praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Christ that we find true refuge, and we are grateful you have turned to Him in this time of distress.

Yet we must address with urgency the dark thoughts that have taken root in your heart. The desire for vengeance, the contemplation of violence—even in your deepest anger—is not of God. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). *"Beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord’* (Romans 12:19, WEB). These thoughts are a snare of the enemy, seeking to drag you into sin and destruction. The Lord sees your pain, but He calls you to release this bitterness and trust in His justice. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB).

The religious attacks you describe are not from God, even if they come through those who claim His name. The enemy often twists scripture and uses people to bring confusion and division, but we are called to stand firm in the truth. King David, though a man after God’s own heart, faced immense persecution—even from those within his own household. Yet he cried out to the Lord, *"Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me. Many there are who say of my soul, ‘There is no help for him in God.’"* (Psalm 3:1-2, WEB). But David did not take matters into his own hands; he trusted in the Lord’s deliverance. You, too, must cling to this truth: *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB).

As for the disappointment and perceived revenge from this individual, we urge you to surrender this to God. If you have wronged this person, even unintentionally, seek reconciliation if possible. *"If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift"* (Matthew 5:23-24, WEB). But if this person is acting out of malice, trust that the Lord will vindicate you in His time. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28, WEB).

The thoughts of violence you’ve described are a serious matter, and we implore you to seek immediate help—both spiritually and, if necessary, through godly counsel or pastoral support. These thoughts are not from the Lord, and they must be renounced and cast out in the name of Jesus. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). Fill your mind with the Word of God, and let it wash over you until these dark imaginings lose their power.

We also encourage you to examine whether there is any unconfessed sin or bitterness in your heart that may be giving the enemy a foothold. *"Don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27, WEB). Repent of any anger, resentment, or desire for revenge, and ask the Lord to fill you with His peace. *"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise"* (Psalm 51:17, WEB).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking for Your mighty hand of protection and deliverance to rest upon them. Lord, You see the attacks they are facing—both spiritual and emotional—and we ask that You would be their shield and their exceedingly great reward. Break the power of every religious spirit that seeks to bring confusion and condemnation, and let Your truth be a lamp to their feet.

Father, we bind and rebuke every spirit of vengeance, violence, and bitterness that has taken root in their heart. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we command these thoughts to be silenced and cast out, never to return. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remove any fear, anxiety, or desire for retaliation, and replace it with a deep trust in Your sovereignty and justice.

Lord, if there has been any offense given or taken, we ask for Your wisdom and grace to bring reconciliation where it is possible and right. But if this is an attack of the enemy, we pray for Your divine intervention—expose the schemes of the devil and bring conviction to those who are being used as instruments of harm. Let no weapon formed against our brother/sister prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray for godly wisdom and discernment to know how to respond in this situation. If there are any open doors in their life that have given the enemy access, reveal them and grant the strength to close them through repentance and faith. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no harm can reach them.

Father, we also pray for their relatives who may be influenced by this situation. Soften hearts, open eyes to the truth, and let Your Spirit move mightily to bring unity and healing where there has been division. Let Your love and truth prevail in every relationship.

Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would draw our brother/sister closer to Yourself through this trial. Let them experience Your presence in a deeper way, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, renew their mind, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and not in defeat.

We declare that no plan of the enemy shall succeed against them, for You, Lord, are their defender and their strong tower. We thank You for Your peace, Your providence, and Your progress in their life, and we trust that You will bring beauty from these ashes.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We strongly encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. Surround yourself with believers who can support and pray for you. If these violent thoughts persist, please reach out to a pastor or a trusted Christian counselor immediately—there is no shame in seeking help, and the Lord often uses His people to bring healing. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Cling to Him, and He will lift you up.
