We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer, for we see the deep distress and spiritual battle you are enduring. First, we must address something critical: your request for death is not aligned with God’s will. Life is a precious gift from Him, and He alone determines its beginning and end. Scripture tells us in **Ecclesiastes 3:2 (WEB)**, *"a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted."* Your life has purpose, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. We strongly rebuke this request in the name of Jesus, for it is not of God but a lie from the enemy to bring despair. Instead, we pray for God’s peace, protection, and restoration over your mind, body, and spirit.
You mention experiencing what you believe are demonic attacks—disturbing dreams, unclean thoughts, and even physical encounters with filth. We recognize this as spiritual warfare, and we stand with you in rebuking these attacks. **Ephesians 6:12 (WEB)** reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your shield and strength, and He has given you authority through Christ to resist the devil (James 4:7). We command every unclean spirit, every demonic influence, and every curse to flee from you now in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
You also mention that reading the gospel brings temporary relief, and we praise God for that. His Word is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), and it is your greatest weapon against the enemy. We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture daily, not as a ritual, but as a lifeline to the truth and presence of God. **Psalm 119:105 (WEB)** says, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path."* Let the Word of God cleanse your mind and renew your thoughts (Romans 12:2). If unclean or disturbing thoughts persist, take them captive and submit them to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Speak Scripture aloud over your life, for there is power in the spoken Word of God.
We also note your mention of "bad luck" and the fear that these attacks are manifesting in reality. Beloved, there is no such thing as "luck" for those who are in Christ Jesus. You are under the sovereign care of Almighty God, who works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). What the enemy means for harm, God can turn for your good and His glory. Trust in His providence, even when circumstances seem bleak.
Lastly, we must address the absence of hope in your words. The enemy wants you to believe there is no way out, but that is a lie. Jesus is your hope, your deliverer, and your redeemer. **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)** declares, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* You are not abandoned. You are not forgotten. The Lord sees your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray that He would fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and restore your joy in Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under severe spiritual attack. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels for protection and deliverance. Break every curse, every demonic assignment, and every stronghold that has been erected against them. We rebuke the spirits of fear, despair, uncleanness, and death in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask that You renew their mind and wash them clean with the blood of Jesus. Remove every unclean thought, every disturbing dream, and every lie the enemy has planted in their heart.
Lord, we declare that Your Word is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. Strengthen them to stand firm in Your truth and to resist the devil, knowing that he must flee. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and not in fear. Father, we ask that You restore their hope and remind them of Your unfailing love. Let them know that You have not abandoned them, but are working all things for their good.
We pray for divine encounters with Your presence, that they may experience Your peace and joy in the midst of this storm. Break the power of the enemy over their life and let Your glory shine brightly in their circumstances. Father, we ask that You heal their body, mind, and spirit. Remove every trace of oppression and replace it with Your freedom.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You place godly people in their life—believers who can stand with them in prayer, encourage them in the faith, and walk alongside them in this season. Let them not isolate themselves, but find community in Your body, the Church.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We trust in Your power to deliver and restore. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we urge you to seek out a Bible-believing church or a mature Christian who can pray with you and support you through this time. You do not have to face this alone. The body of Christ is here to stand with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your deliverer, and He will see you through this valley. Stay in the Word, pray without ceasing, and trust in His promises. You are loved, you are valued, and you are not forgotten. God is with you.
