We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your heart’s cry for deliverance and peace in the name of Jesus Christ. It is clear you are burdened by past words, harmful associations, and the lingering pain of ungodly influences in your life. We praise you for turning to Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and for acknowledging His authority over these struggles. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, and we stand with you in claiming that victory.

First, let us address the language and attitudes reflected in your request. The words you recall—"fuck them kids" and the response you received—are not only vulgar but reflect a heart of bitterness, anger, or even hatred. The Bible is clear that our words have power, and we are called to speak life, not death. Ephesians 4:29 says, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* Similarly, Colossians 3:8 instructs, *"But now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth."* If these words were spoken in anger or frustration, we urge you to repent and ask God to cleanse your heart. Bitterness and ungodly speech open doors to the enemy, and we must close those doors through repentance and the blood of Jesus.

You also mention two individuals named Josh, describing one as someone you want to be completely removed from your life and another as a "psychopath." While we understand the pain and trauma that may have come from these relationships, we must approach this with biblical wisdom. The Bible does not call us to pray for the destruction of others but for their salvation and for God’s protection over us. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus says, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean you must remain in harmful or toxic relationships. Wisdom often requires setting boundaries or even walking away from people who are dangerous or unrepentantly harmful. However, our prayers should still align with God’s heart for their souls.

If these individuals were involved in sinful or abusive behavior, we pray for God’s justice and protection over you. Psalm 34:17-19 says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We ask God to sever any ungodly soul ties or influences these individuals may still have over you. If there was unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or any other sin involved in these relationships, we urge you to repent and ask God to cleanse you. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

We also notice you did not mention forgiveness in your request. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that can hinder your own peace and spiritual growth. Jesus said in Mark 11:25, *"Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your trespasses."* We encourage you to release these individuals to God, forgiving them for any harm they caused, not because they deserve it, but because Christ has forgiven you. This does not mean what they did was okay; it means you are trusting God to handle the justice and freeing yourself from the bondage of bitterness.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking deliverance and peace. Lord, You see the wounds of the past, the words spoken in anger, and the harmful influences that have left scars. We ask You to cleanse every ungodly word, attitude, and memory that does not align with Your will. Wash away the bitterness, the anger, and the pain with the blood of Jesus. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

Lord, we ask for Your protection and deliverance from the influence of these individuals named Josh. If there are ungodly soul ties, we break them now in the name of Jesus. If there are doors that were opened through sin, anger, or unforgiveness, we close them by the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around this precious soul, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If these individuals are dangerous or unrepentant, we pray for Your divine intervention—either by removing their influence or by bringing them to repentance. Lord, we do not pray for their harm but for Your will to be done in their lives. If they have caused great pain, we ask for Your justice and for healing for our brother/sister.

Father, we pray for complete peace—peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remove every reminder of the past that the enemy tries to use to bring condemnation or fear. Let Your providence and progress be evident in their life. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and lead them into a future filled with Your purpose and joy.

We also pray for forgiveness to flow freely. If there is any unforgiveness in their heart, Holy Spirit, soften them and help them release it to You. Teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Break every chain of bitterness and replace it with Your love and grace.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God of redemption. You take our brokenness and turn it into something beautiful. We declare that our brother/sister is no longer defined by their past, by the words they’ve spoken, or by the harm others have done to them. They are defined by the blood of Jesus, by Your love, and by the purpose You have for their life.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, especially verses that speak of His love, protection, and redemption. Psalm 139:23-24 is a great prayer to pray: *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."* Let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth and healing. Surround yourself with godly community, and if you haven’t already, seek counseling from a biblical perspective to help you process these experiences in a healthy way.

You are not alone in this. The body of Christ stands with you, and God is faithful to complete the work He has started in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your peace, your provider, and your protector.

We also want to remind you that forgiveness is a process, and it's okay to take it one step at a time. Jesus doesn't expect us to forget what happened, but He does want us to release the bitterness and trust Him for justice. As it says in Romans 12:19, "Do not take revenge, dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."
