We come before the Lord with hearts burdened by the weight of your words, yet also lifted by your desire to seek Jesus in prayer. First, we must address something critical: the name of Jesus is holy, and we are called to approach Him with reverence, not with curses or violent language. The Scriptures remind us in Exodus 20:7, *"You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain."* The Lord is a God of justice, mercy, and love—not of slaughter or destruction of people. If you are struggling with anger, bitterness, or confusion, we urge you to bring those emotions to Jesus in honesty, but with a heart that seeks His transformation rather than vengeance. He is the One who said in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."*
We also notice that you have replaced certain words with symbols, and while we do not know what those words are, we sense deep pain and possibly unresolved trauma in your heart. If there is sin, injustice, or evil you are confronting—whether in your own life or in the world—we encourage you to name it before the Lord in truth, seeking His righteousness and healing rather than retribution. Romans 12:19 tells us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
As for your father’s health, we lift him up to the Lord, asking for healing and comfort. James 5:14-15 instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We pray that the Lord would touch your father’s throat, remove any sickness, and restore him to full health. May the Lord also grant you and your family peace and strength as you care for him.
We also hear your gratitude for the Lord’s cleansing in your past. This is a beautiful testimony of God’s work in your life! The blood of Jesus is powerful to wash away every sin, every mistake, and every burden. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We rejoice with you in this freedom and pray that the Lord continues to renew your mind and heart, replacing any lingering pain or confusion with His truth and love.
Finally, we notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, there seems to be a mix of gratitude, pain, and possibly superstition or fear tied to the symbols you used. We want to gently remind you that our faith is in Jesus Christ alone—not in symbols, rituals, or vague references. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If there is anything in your past or present that has led you to associate Jesus with anything less than His holiness and power, we pray that the Lord would break those chains and fill you with the knowledge of His true character.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long for Your truth, Your healing, and Your peace. Lord, we lift up this dear one who has poured out their heart to You, though with words that reveal deep pain and confusion. Father, we ask that You would cleanse their heart and mind, removing any bitterness, anger, or fear that does not align with Your will. Replace it with Your love, Your joy, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we pray for their father’s healing. Touch his throat, Lord, and restore him to full health. Give wisdom to those caring for him and surround this family with Your comfort and provision. We also thank You for the work You have already done in cleansing and redeeming the past. May this one walk forward in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased on the cross.
Father, if there are any lies, superstitions, or ungodly associations that have taken root in their heart, we ask that You would uproot them by Your truth. Fill them with the knowledge of who You are—a God of love, justice, and mercy. Help them to trust in You fully, casting all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We rebuke any spiritual strongholds or confusion in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, we ask that You would guide this one into all truth, leading them to a place of surrender and trust in the Lord. May they find their identity and security in Christ alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
