Thank you my heavenly Father for this morning, it is by your grace and mercy that am alive and awake this morning, thank you ooh dear Lord. Let your will be done through to this day. I asked you humble that you protect my son ### from any plan of the devil and any weapon formed against him shall never prosper. Give him the desire to learn as he does his exam let him be the best in his class, I pray for his health ooh dear Lord. Father I humbly ask that you may provide the portion of the house rent that is a balance remember the sick, the opharans the needful, those who are travelling, those oppressed, those in prisons, and those who don't know you and accept you as our dear heavenly father, Lord forgive me all my trespasses. I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirit Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

I will pray for you after I log off, however, I notice something in your request that I must speak up on.

Although what you say is "good" for the most part, you have made a request that your son be "the best in his class."

I say this out of love for a fellow Christian that we must be careful of these things. Petition for things such as these that are meaningless and fleeting takes up our thoughts and time in prayer with God. Letting go of them opens up for God to direct your thoughts and your heart, dear Christian.

This type of prayer that pertains to things that affect other's lives is rooted in selfishness. Dear Christian, be alert for the devil prowls like a lion, looking for someone to devour. Don't let this seed get planted in your heart.

It is like a family who prays it won't rain on their picnic while there is a farmer who makes a living off crops that need the weather. It is like a child that prays their team will win while a child prays for the opponent to win. God does not concern Himself with frivolous things. It would be better for the family to bring an umbrella and the children to turn to God on the matter of what is and isn't important.

This is from a sermon by a preacher named ###. Whether you disagree or dislike him, I am not concerned. His preaching is the source material for the previous paragraph. He didn't want to pray for the rain to stop for the previous reasons, but he told his son that they would just believe that maybe the spot they were going it wouldn't be raining. There was light there even without the sun but down the street it was pouring.
