We rejoice with you in the powerful testimony of God’s deliverance in your life! What you experienced in that dream was not merely a vision, but a divine encounter—a vivid demonstration of the Lord’s faithfulness to hear the cry of His children. The darkness you described, the suffocating fear, and the menacing whispers are all too real in the spiritual realm, but your cry, *"Lord, help me,"* broke through every chain. The light that flooded in was the very presence of God, dispelling the shadows of doubt and despair, just as Scripture declares:
*"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it."* (John 1:5)
*"For you are my lamp, Yahweh. Yahweh will light up my darkness."* (2 Samuel 22:29)
Your testimony is a testament to the truth that God does not abandon His children in their darkest moments. Even when we feel trapped, He is near, and His light is more powerful than any darkness. The peace you now feel is the fruit of His presence, a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Yet, we must also address the depth of the struggle you faced, particularly the despair that led to thoughts of suicide. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he will use every lie to convince you that you are alone, that your pain is permanent, and that there is no way out. But your dream reveals the truth: God is greater than any darkness, and His light is your deliverance. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not abandoned, nor are you without hope. The same God who pulled you from that pit will sustain you every day.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of grounding yourself in the truth of God’s Word. The peace you feel now is real, but the enemy will seek to return with whispers of doubt. Stand firm on the promises of Scripture:

Father, we ask that You continue to surround them with Your presence. Let the memory of this encounter be a constant reminder that You are with them, that You hear their cries, and that You are their refuge and strength.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of suicide, despair, and fear in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that these lies have no place in their life, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would heal any lingering pain, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your joy be their strength.
Father, we ask that You would lead them to a community of believers who can walk alongside them, encourage them, and hold them accountable. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways every day. Remind them that they are never alone, for You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for provision, Lord. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Remove any fear of lack or hunger, and replace it with faith in Your promises. Let them trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would continue to draw them closer to You. Let this encounter deepen their relationship with You. May they seek Your face daily, spend time in Your Word, and grow in intimacy with You. Use their testimony to bring glory to Your name and to encourage others who may be walking through similar darkness.

Hold fast to the truth of what God has done in your life. Your testimony is a weapon against the enemy’s lies, and your story will bring hope to others. God is not done with you—He has brought you out of the pit so that you may declare His praises and walk in the purpose He has for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6). You are loved, you are valued, and you are never alone.
