Test

Good and Faithful Servant
I posted this recently: "My training class at my new job is taking our exam today. This exam will determine if we are permanently hired with the company. Please pray we will all pass. Pray that all training classes with the company will pass. Please also pray because I made two friends at the job who want to cheat during the test (this is a work from home job; I only know that one of these individuals is possibly a professing Christian). I can't cheat as a Christian. I have not known how to convey this to them and have been afraid to try to. Please pray that God will dissuade them from this. I have tried to provide them with resources and alternatives to cheating." I passed my test and so did one of the other friends I referenced in this prayer request. One of them really struggled during the test. She did not pay attention during training pretty much at all. I really tried to stay away from the social media chat where she and the other friend I made were cheating because as a Christian, I know helping someone cheat is dishonest. But then I saw that she was not getting any help from the other friend at all maybe because the other friend wasn't paying attention. I did not agree to help them cheat but never said I wouldn't either. I was honestly afraid to put my foot down and just say no which I should have done. They know I'm a Christian and this probably would have been a better witness to just say no. But I ended up helping this person. I feel terrible and convicted. I feel frustrated. I feel scared of consequences. I feel conflicted about whether I have people in my life who are unequally yoked to me. I feel like I don't like the person I've become lately in terms of my Christian faith. I'm really tired of everything in my life, all the battles in my faith, shortcomings, etc. I feel conflicted about so much. Please pray. Thank you.

We hear your heart, and we stand with you in this moment of conviction and struggle. First, we want to acknowledge the courage it took to share this openly, it’s clear you love the Lord and desire to walk in His ways, even when it’s difficult. The weight of conviction you feel is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in you, drawing you back to righteousness. That is something to be thankful for, even in the midst of discomfort.

You are right to feel troubled about what transpired. Helping someone cheat, even if you didn’t explicitly agree to it, is still dishonesty, and Scripture is clear: "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22). You also recognized that a firmer "no" would have been a stronger witness. That doesn’t mean you’re a failure, it means you’re human, and the Lord uses even our missteps to teach us. The apostle Paul wrote, "For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do, this I keep on doing" (Romans 7:19). You’re not alone in this struggle.

We must also address the issue of being unequally yoked. The friendships you’ve formed with those who don’t share your commitment to Christ, or worse, who may claim to but live contrary to His Word, are indeed a stumbling block. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). This doesn’t mean you can’t show them kindness or share the gospel, but it does mean you must guard your heart and your actions. You cannot allow their choices to pull you away from what you know is right.

You mentioned feeling tired of the battles in your faith. Beloved, the Christian life is not a life of ease, it’s a life of warfare. But take heart: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12). The weariness you feel is real, but so is the strength Christ offers. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). You are not meant to carry this alone.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister in Christ. Lord, we thank You for her honesty and her desire to walk in Your ways. We ask that You would wash over her with Your mercy and grace, reminding her that Your love is not earned, it is freely given. Forgive her, Lord, for the times she has stumbled, and help her to forgive herself. Give her the courage to stand firm in Your truth, even when it’s unpopular or uncomfortable.

Father, we pray for the friendships she has formed. If these relationships are pulling her away from You, we ask that You would either transform them or remove them from her life. Give her wisdom to know how to love these friends without compromising her faith. Help her to be a light in their lives, pointing them to You.

Lord, we ask that You would renew her strength. She is tired, Father, but You are the God who never grows weary. Fill her with Your peace, Your joy, and Your purpose. Remind her that she is not defined by her mistakes but by the blood of Jesus Christ. Help her to rest in You, to trust in Your promises, and to walk forward in faith, one step at a time.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His power that we can live lives that honor You. Amen.

Now, dear sister, take a deep breath. You are not beyond redemption. You are not a failure. You are a child of God who has stumbled, but He is lifting you up. Here’s what we encourage you to do next:

1. Repent and Receive Forgiveness: Confess this to the Lord. He already knows, and He is faithful to forgive (1 John 1:9). Don’t wallow in guilt, receive His grace and move forward.

2. Set Boundaries: If these friendships are leading you into temptation, it’s time to create some distance. That doesn’t mean you have to cut them off completely, but you must protect your heart. "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23).

3. Speak the Truth in Love: If the opportunity arises, gently but firmly share with your friends why you can’t participate in dishonesty. You don’t have to preach at them, but you can say, "I care about you, but I can’t do that because it goes against what I believe." That simple statement may plant a seed.

4. Find Godly Community: You need friends who will encourage you in your faith, not pull you away from it. Seek out a Bible-believing church or small group where you can grow and be held accountable.

5. Rest in Christ: You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to be perfect. Jesus already is. Rest in His finished work on the cross and let that be your strength.

You are loved. You are forgiven. And you are not alone. Keep pressing into Jesus, He is worth it.

We’re praying for you right now, sister, feeling that deep weariness and that heavy weight of conviction is real, and we want you to know that God sees every ache in your heart. It takes so much strength to admit when you’ve stumbled, especially when it’s something so personal and painful like this. You’re not failing, you’re learning, and that’s how God grows us.

We’re praying that God would give you clarity about those friendships. It’s okay to love people, but it’s also okay to protect your heart when their choices pull you away from what you know is right. Maybe God is showing you that some relationships need space, not because you don’t care, but because you do, you care enough to walk in truth. And we’re praying for wisdom to know how to love them well without letting them drag you down.

You mentioned feeling tired of the battles, we get it. The Christian life isn’t easy, but Jesus never promised it would be. But here’s what we’re praying for you: that you’d find rest in Him, not in your own strength. That when you feel exhausted, you’d remember that His yoke is light, and His burden is easy. We’re praying that He’d remind you of His love for you, you, not your performance, not your mistakes, but the you He’s been pursuing since before time.

And we’re praying for that friend who struggled so hard. God’s not done with her yet. Maybe He’s using your honesty to reach her, even if it’s just a small seed planted. You don’t have to carry this guilt alone, let it go, and let God work in her heart too.

We’re with you, sister. Keep walking forward, one step at a time. Jesus is right there with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful that you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this challenging time. Praise God for His faithfulness in helping you and one of your friends pass the exam! We rejoice with you in that victory and give Him all the glory.

We also understand the heaviness you’re carrying—how the weight of compromise, fear, and conviction can leave you feeling conflicted and weary. It’s clear how deeply you desire to honor God in your actions and relationships, and we want you to know we’re continuing to lift you up. We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom and boldness to navigate these friendships with grace and truth, and that He would strengthen your resolve to walk in integrity, even when it’s difficult. May He comfort your heart as you seek His will and give you peace about the decisions ahead.

Please know we’re still praying for clarity, restoration, and renewed strength for you. If you’d like us to keep lifting up specific areas—like your relationships, your faith walk, or the emotional exhaustion you’re feeling—we’d be honored to do so. You’re not alone in this, and we believe God is working even in the midst of the struggle.

If you’d like to share more or ask for continued prayer, we’re here to stand with you. May the Lord draw near to you, renew your spirit, and remind you of His unfailing love. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
