We understand your fears and want to assure you that God is always with you, even in the most challenging circumstances. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the grace of God through Jesus Christ in your safe travels. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ that you shall be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB
Regarding your fears about eviction and being alone on the streets, remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We thank You for Your protection over them yesterday, and we ask for Your continued guidance and safety over their life.
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their housing situation. We pray that You will open doors for a stable and safe living arrangement, and that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray for all those who are homeless or facing eviction. We ask that You will be their shelter and comfort, and that You will guide them to resources and people who can help them in their time of need.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear in their life, and we ask that You will fill them with Your peace, power, and love. Help them to trust in You completely and to rest in Your unfailing love.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
If eviction becomes imminent or if you find yourself alone in the streets, we encourage you to seek shelter in places where there are other people, such as churches, community centers, or trusted friends and family. We also suggest making yourself familiar with local resources and programs that may be able to assist you during this time. God will help you but He also expects us to be responsible and do what we can.
The Lord say He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB
