Disciple of Prayer
Hello to everyone! Please help me pray for this and it is quite a long prayer request. I'm going through a very tough time. My two sisters are treating me very badly. My middle sister has been consistently mean and fussing at me about past things that have happened and her fussing is causing my recent diagnosis of high blood pressure to rise even higher and my autoimmune issues also to weaken even more. My baby sister is also treating me very badly, she keeps needing to borrow my materials (my middle sister keeps asking me too) and then complain when I give it to them. My middle sister has just got a taxed income that is a generous amount but refuses to help my mother and I with any bills but is staying in our apartment and not her own and allowing her children (my nephews) to tear up our apartment. My baby sister is not currently working at any job because she is waiting on a settlement payout from her helper and lawyer. My mother and I have been helping her and my middle sister financially but my middle sister and baby sister have been extremely ungrateful. They will ask my mother and I to buy everything while I'm on a low fixed monthly income from SSI and they have a weekly income. I have been helping my mother and two sisters with the student loans that I get from school. Also, my mother and two sisters keep making fun of my outer appearance and calling me names during my autoimmune disease. My mother also is treating me badly being my caregiver, my mother barely is helping me with anything of my autoimmune disease. She refuses to put together my equipment I have bought for her that I need for my muscle weakness. I just want to go to work and I need to pay off all my debts from the student loan I owe to credit card debt. I have been applying to so many jobs, only one percent are responding and then change their mind about me wanting to work for them and then forget that they spoke with me. I also want to learn how to drive a car with my disability weakness. I'm in deep deep financial crisis. My mother, baby sister, and I apartment lease is due to be renewed but I don't want to renew it. I want to live elsewhere where there is disability accommodations. Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that I get a remote job quickly, I need a speedy financial help to cover bills. I want to move in a nice apartment or house. I just don't want to pray about materials and money. I pray that my mother, my sisters, and nephews stop their terrible behaviors. I pray that they have wisdom in the Lord, I pray that they stop the ungratefulness, and I pray that my middle sister moves back to her apartment with her two children. I cannot take it anymore! Jesus I pray to you for a speedy recovery of my health, financial, terrible situation with my family, and depression. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the Lord. Your situation is heavy—filled with family strife, financial strain, and physical suffering—but we know that God sees you and cares deeply for you. You are not alone, and we join you in seeking His intervention, wisdom, and healing.

First, we must address the brokenness in your family relationships. Scripture commands us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12) and to love one another as Christ loved us (John 13:34). Yet, what you describe is far from the love and respect God intends for families. The ungratefulness, name-calling, and exploitation you’ve endured are not only hurtful but sinful. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife in your home in Jesus’ name. The Bible warns, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18). While you cannot control their actions, you can choose to respond with grace, setting boundaries where necessary.

Your sisters’ demands for your resources while refusing to contribute themselves is unjust. Proverbs 22:7 says, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* You are not obligated to enable their irresponsibility, especially when it harms your own well-being. We pray for wisdom for you to know when to say no, trusting that God will provide for your needs without you being taken advantage of. Your health—both physical and emotional—must come first. The stress they are causing is exacerbating your medical conditions, and that is unacceptable. We declare healing over your body, mind, and spirit, asking God to strengthen you where you are weak and to calm your anxious heart.

Your desire to work and become financially independent is godly. The Lord honors diligence, and we pray that He opens doors for you that no man can shut. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). We ask God to connect you with a remote job that accommodates your needs and provides stability. Until then, we trust Him to sustain you, knowing that He is your Provider (Philippians 4:19). Your financial struggles are real, but they are not permanent. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare breakthrough over your debts and bills. May God grant you favor with creditors and unexpected blessings to cover your needs.

The disrespect you’ve endured regarding your appearance and health is deeply painful. No one should be mocked for things beyond their control, especially by those who are supposed to love them. We pray that your family would see you through God’s eyes—not as someone to belittle, but as someone fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Your worth is not defined by their words. We also pray for your mother, that God would soften her heart and help her fulfill her role as your caregiver with compassion. If she is unable or unwilling to assist you properly, we ask God to raise up others who will support you in practical ways.

Your desire to move to a place with disability accommodations is valid. Living in an environment that adds stress to your health is not God’s best for you. We pray for God to make a way where there seems to be no way, leading you to a safe, affordable, and suitable home. *"The Lord is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1). We also pray for your ability to learn to drive, that God would grant you the strength, resources, and opportunities to do so safely.

Above all, we must emphasize that your hope is in Jesus Christ alone. You have called on His name, and that is where true help comes from. *"For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, trusting that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Your family’s behavior may not change, but God can change *you*—giving you peace in the midst of chaos and strength in your weakness.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is enduring so much. Lord, You see her pain, her financial struggles, and the mistreatment she has faced. We ask You to intervene in her family, softening hearts and bringing repentance where there has been sin. Father, we rebuke the spirit of strife and ungratefulness in her home, and we declare Your peace to reign in her heart.

Lord, we pray for her health—both physical and emotional. Strengthen her body where it is weak, calm her mind, and heal her from the stress that has taken a toll. Provide for her financially, opening doors for employment and unexpected blessings to cover her needs. Lead her to a safe and suitable home where she can thrive.

Father, we ask for Your protection over her spirit. Guard her from bitterness and resentment, and fill her with Your joy and hope. Help her to set godly boundaries with her family, and give her the courage to stand firm in what is right. Surround her with supportive believers who can encourage and assist her.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that she would draw ever closer to You. May she find her identity, worth, and strength in Christ alone. We trust You to work all things together for her good, and we declare that this season of hardship will not last forever. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's overwhelming to feel burdened by family strife, financial strain, and health issues all at once. But remember, you're never alone. God sees you, He cares, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with a few things. First, keep seeking God in all this. He's your refuge, your strength, and your hope. Keep pouring out your heart to Him, and trust that He hears you and is working things out for your good.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking work. It's tough out there, we know, but keep applying, keep persevering. God sees your diligence, and He promises to reward it. Trust that He's got a plan for you, and it includes providing for your needs.

As for your family situation, it's heartbreaking to hear how they've been treating you. But remember, you can't control their actions, only your responses. Keep choosing to love them, even when it's hard. And don't hesitate to set boundaries where you need to. Your health and well-being are important too.

We're praying for you, friend. For healing, for provision, for wisdom, and for peace. We're believing God for a breakthrough in your situation, and we're here for you, cheering you on every step of the way.

Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember, He's got this. You're in His hands, and that's the best place to be. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. You've got this, with God's help.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
