Dear Lord Jesus,

Just a day treating my dad telling him I really want him to come to the movie but please later and it would exceed his bedtime because he’s gotta get ready for work or church tomorrow and then work the next day. He has his own priorities for bedtime and you know what I respect that and try to keep quiet for him.

I have my priorities as an autistic man and photosensitive and I have developed heliophobia after working down south and getting nearly killed little. Does he or my mom understand that when I wanted to present it one place they told me to suck it up and deal with it very least I could’ve been provided shade and I’ve been discriminated against again and again, so keeping doesn’t make much money they want me to be a zookeeper. My dad is embarrassed by my love of puppets. I’m embarrassed by my zookeeper and people asking me about my session please make it stop. Please let them understand. I respect to sleep. They must respect my photosensitivity and my desires. If they’re embarrassed by my love of puppets, I don’t wanna talk about my position. Specially, my sister doesn’t embarrassing things and they let it slide. Also teach them how to be more sympathetic, the fact that all three of my sisters have somebody to married with kids both older and then one that’s younger than me as a fiancé. I’m the only son I have nobody and I want you got the spouse. They could be more understanding that too what to do you have to marry to make staple and come or hold a second job if you wanna move on your own because of this, I’m forced to live with my parents. That’s why I wanna try into puppeteering and working Christian media to make more money and eventually spin off from zookeeper and go more into media and employ other people in need a better income.

In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heart, and we lift you up before the Lord with compassion and understanding. You are navigating many challenges—physical sensitivities, vocational struggles, family dynamics, and the deep longing for companionship and purpose. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to move mightily in every area of your life.

First, we want to affirm that your feelings are valid. The frustration of not being understood, the exhaustion of advocating for your needs, and the pain of feeling dismissed—these are heavy burdens. Scripture tells us, *"A bruised reed he will not break, and a dimly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice"* (Isaiah 42:3 WEB). God sees your struggles, and He does not ignore the cry of the afflicted. You are not alone in this.

We also want to gently address some areas where we believe God’s Word offers correction and guidance. Your parents’ response to your photosensitivity and vocational desires may have been hurtful, but we must remember that even in conflict, we are called to honor them. *"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you"* (Exodus 20:12 WEB). This does not mean their words or actions were right, but it does mean we respond with grace, even when it’s difficult. Have you considered approaching them with humility, explaining your needs in a way that doesn’t accuse but rather invites understanding? Sometimes, people don’t realize the depth of our struggles until we communicate them clearly.

Regarding your career, we sense your passion for puppeteering and Christian media, and we believe God can use those gifts for His glory. However, we must also caution against bitterness toward the path you’re currently on. The zookeeping role, though not your ideal, may be a season of preparation. *"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28 WEB). Could God be using this time to teach you perseverance, creativity, or even how to minister to others in unexpected ways? We encourage you to seek Him for wisdom in how to transition into media work without resentment toward your current job.

Your longing for marriage is also something we take before the Lord. It’s clear this is a deep desire of your heart, and we want to affirm that God cares about this too. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). However, we must also remind you that marriage is not the sole source of fulfillment. Your worth is not defined by your marital status but by your identity in Christ. We pray that God would bring the right person into your life—a godly spouse who shares your faith and values—but we also pray that He would fill the loneliness you feel with His presence in the meantime. Have you considered joining a local church or Christian community where you might meet like-minded believers? Sometimes, God uses fellowship to prepare us for the relationships He has for us.

We also want to gently rebuke the comparison you’ve made between yourself and your sisters. It’s easy to feel overlooked when others seem to be moving forward in life, but God’s timing is not ours. *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 55:8 WEB). Instead of focusing on what others have, we encourage you to focus on what God is doing in your life. Are there small steps you can take toward independence—financially, spiritually, or relationally? Even in living with your parents, God can use this season to refine you for the plans He has.

Finally, we want to address the embarrassment you feel about your love for puppets. There is no shame in using your gifts for God’s glory. *"Each one has been given his own gift from God, one in this way, and another in that way"* (1 Corinthians 7:7 WEB). If your family doesn’t understand, that doesn’t diminish the value of what you do. We pray that God would give you confidence in your calling and that He would open doors for you to use your talents in ways that honor Him.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up every burden he carries. Lord, You see his heart—the frustration, the longing, the weariness—and we ask that You would meet him in these places. Give him strength to endure the challenges of photosensitivity and the patience to navigate his family’s misunderstandings. Soften their hearts, Father, to see his needs and to respond with compassion.

We pray for his vocational journey, Lord. You have given him gifts and passions, and we ask that You would open doors for him in Christian media and puppeteering. Provide opportunities for him to use his talents for Your glory, and give him wisdom in how to transition from his current role without bitterness or haste. Help him to see the value in every season, even the difficult ones.

Father, we lift up his desire for marriage. You know the longing of his heart, and we ask that You would prepare him for the spouse You have for him. In the meantime, fill the loneliness with Your presence and surround him with godly community. Help him to trust in Your timing and to find contentment in You alone.

We also ask that You would heal any bitterness or comparison in his heart. Replace those feelings with peace and purpose, reminding him that his worth is found in You. Give him confidence in his calling, Lord, and help him to walk boldly in the gifts You’ve given him.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would bring unity and understanding to his family. Help them to see him through Your eyes and to respond with love and grace. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

You are not forgotten, and your struggles are not unseen. We encourage you to press into God’s Word, seeking His guidance daily. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep moving forward, one step at a time, trusting that God is with you.

We're here with you, dear friend. We understand the struggle of feeling misunderstood, especially when it comes to our unique passions and needs. It's tough when those closest to us don't seem to get it, but remember, God sees you, and He cares deeply about your heart.

We want to encourage you to keep communicating your needs to your parents. It's okay to express your feelings, but try to do so in a way that invites understanding rather than accusation. Maybe they don't realize the extent of your struggles. Also, consider seeking God's wisdom in how to navigate your current job. It might not be your ideal situation, but God can use it to teach you and prepare you for the future.

We also want to remind you that God has a purpose and a plan for your life. He sees your desire for marriage, and He cares about it too. But remember, your worth is not defined by your marital status. Trust that God has the right person in mind for you, and in the meantime, find contentment in Him.

Lastly, we want to affirm your love for puppets. There's no shame in using your gifts for God's glory. If your family doesn't understand, that's okay. Keep using your talents in ways that honor Him, and trust that God will open doors for you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You today. We ask that You would give them strength to endure their challenges and patience to navigate their family dynamics. Soft their parents' hearts, Father, so they can see and understand their needs.

We also pray for their vocational journey, Lord. Open doors for them in Christian media and puppeteering. Give them wisdom in how to transition from their current role, and help them find value in every season.

Father, we lift up their desire for marriage. Prepare them for the spouse You have for them, and fill the loneliness with Your presence in the meantime.

Heal any bitterness or comparison in their heart, Lord. Replace those feelings with peace and purpose, reminding them that their worth is found in You. Give them confidence in their calling, and help them walk boldly in the gifts You've given them.

Finally, bring unity and understanding to their family, Lord. Help them see their child through Your eyes and respond with love and grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You're not alone, and your struggles are not unseen. Keep pressing into God's Word, seeking His guidance daily. Trust that He is with you, every step of the way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
