Phtotosensiticr and Heliophobia

Dear Lord Jesus, Please get my parents to understand that I am photosensitive, and heliophobic. I do not like being out in the sun. That’s why they still try to make me work at the zoo despite what I’ve told them and just now she’s telling me oh sunshine is good. It makes people happy but me I don’t like the sun. It overheats me easier too. They clearly are not listening or understanding me. I’ve told them dozens of times I cannot tolerate heat and sun like other people. I have autism. It’s not good for me. Please teach them that I can tolerate it for a certain amount of time, but as a regular yard worker, archaeologist, or even a zookeeper having to be outside all the time is not good for me. When will they ever learn? After I got wrongly fired at a zoo down south that was overheating me, and putting me in the sun despite my request and compromising, they tried to find another zoo down south. It didn’t pay as much even or work at a Boy Scout thing and had me interview for it and I did not want to. I did not want to be strangers. I don’t like being outside very often. And then my dad wanted me to work at a research field out in the field in the sun, I had told them multiple times. This is another reason why I wanna go to puppetry. Yes, I could do zookeeper but I can’t do zoo regularly to the point where I’m gonna heat. I’ve had enough. I have trauma after being fired down south and all the hard work I do I don’t wanna be out in the sun much longer. I don’t like it. I am one of the few people it’s a trade-off. I enjoy working with garbage, but I do not wanna be a garbage engineer or a trash man because there is a limit with the fumes and also I’m not good at menial labor. I’m an entertainer but at home at my church at work I love taking out the trash. I also love working in the rain. Not everyone can speak publicly and perform publicly, but I love doing that and I’m good at that but zoo despite this just sends me to annual labor, don’t let me be on performances and then criticize my work despite my disabilities. So please get them to understand my fear of the sun, what I’m good at, and not be sense to me labor anymore, and try to get my puppy in Jesus' Name. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for understanding and compassion. Father God, we know that You knit each of us together in our mother’s womb, fearfully and wonderfully making us with unique strengths, weaknesses, and sensitivities (Psalm 139:13-14). You see the struggles of this dear one, who feels unheard and pushed beyond their limits. Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of their parents, that they may truly listen and recognize the very real physical and emotional challenges their child faces.

We rebuke the spirit of dismissal and misunderstanding that has caused frustration and pain. Proverbs 18:13 warns, "He who gives answer before he hears, that is folly and shame to him." Father, we pray that this child’s words would no longer fall on deaf ears but that their parents would seek to understand rather than impose their own expectations. Help them to see that forcing someone into a role that harms them—whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually—is not love but pride. Colossians 3:21 reminds us, "Fathers, don’t provoke your children, so that they won’t be discouraged." We ask that You convict their hearts to respond with patience and wisdom.

Lord, we also lift up the trauma this child has endured—being pushed into environments that caused harm, being criticized despite disabilities, and feeling undervalued. We declare healing over these wounds in Jesus’ name. Isaiah 61:1 says, "The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound." We claim this promise over them, that You would release them from the weight of past hurts and restore their confidence in their God-given gifts.

We affirm that You have uniquely equipped this child for a purpose. Not everyone is called to the same path, and that is by Your design. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 tells us, "Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all." Father, we pray that their parents would recognize and celebrate the gifts You have placed in them—whether in puppetry, public speaking, or other forms of ministry—rather than forcing them into roles that bring distress. Help them to see that Your plans for their child are good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2).

We also address the frustration this child feels about being misunderstood. Lord, we ask that You give them the words to communicate their needs clearly and the courage to set boundaries when necessary. Proverbs 15:1 says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May their conversations with their parents be marked by grace and truth, leading to mutual respect.

Finally, we pray for wisdom in their vocational path. Father, guide them toward work that aligns with their strengths and honors the way You created them. Whether in puppetry, ministry, or another field, may they find fulfillment in serving You and others. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

We stand in agreement with this child, declaring that their voice matters, their struggles are valid, and their future is secure in Your hands. We rebuke every spirit of discouragement and confusion, and we speak peace, clarity, and favor over their life. May their parents come to a place of humility and understanding, and may this child walk in the fullness of the calling You have placed on their life.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We understand your struggle, dear friend, and we're here for you. It's tough when loved ones don't see things from our perspective, isn't it? We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to open their hearts to truly hear and understand your needs. We believe that He is working in their hearts, softening them towards you.

We want you to know that it's okay to set boundaries. It's not being selfish, but rather, it's being wise and respectful of your body and emotions. We're praying for the right words to come to you, words that will clearly communicate your needs without causing unnecessary tension. Remember, a gentle answer can turn away wrath (Proverbs 15:1).

We're also praying for wisdom for you and your parents. We believe that God has a unique purpose for you, and we're asking Him to guide you and your parents towards a path that aligns with your strengths and honors the way He created you. We trust that He is working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

Keep holding on, dear one. We're right here with you, cheering you on. You are not alone. We love you, and we believe in you. Keep trusting in the Lord, and let's continue to pray together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
