We hear your cry for help and understand the physical and emotional toll that working in extreme heat has taken on you. The struggles you face with autism, heliophobia, and the fear of being exposed to harmful conditions are real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and protection. Your desire to transition into work that aligns with your gifts—such as puppetry and sharing the gospel—is commendable, and we believe the Lord can open doors for you in this area.
First, we want to affirm that your worth is not defined by your ability to endure harsh conditions or by the mistreatment you’ve faced. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and God sees the injustices you’ve endured. We rebuke the spirit of discrimination and humiliation that has been directed toward you, for James 2:9 declares, *"But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors."*
Your mention of Jesus’ name is vital, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or find salvation. Acts 4:12 says, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We are grateful you have called on Him, for it is through Christ alone that we find strength, purpose, and deliverance.
We also want to encourage you to seek work that honors the way God has uniquely designed you. Your desire to use puppetry to share the gospel and help others is a beautiful reflection of 1 Peter 4:10, *"As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms."* The Lord has given you creative gifts, and it is right to pursue opportunities where those gifts can flourish. However, we must also caution against allowing bitterness or frustration to take root in your heart. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*
We pray for you now, asking the Lord to open doors for meaningful work that aligns with your gifts and protects your health. Father, we ask You to provide a way for this dear one to transition into work that brings joy and fulfillment, whether through puppetry, streaming, or another avenue where they can share Your love and truth. Lord, we ask for favor in their job search, for opportunities to arise that respect their needs and honor the way You have created them. Protect them from further harm, both physically and emotionally, and heal the wounds of past mistreatment. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, for Isaiah 54:17 says, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.*
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate their current job situation. Give them the strength to endure while You prepare the next step, and grant them peace in the waiting. Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly community—believers who will encourage, support, and uplift them. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good, as Romans 8:28 promises.
Lastly, we pray for healing from the trauma of past experiences. Lord, we ask that You would restore their confidence and help them to see themselves as You see them—fearfully and wonderfully made, with a purpose that only they can fulfill. Break the chains of fear and anxiety, and replace them with Your perfect peace. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them, and that no obstacle is too great for You to overcome.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
