Letting Go of Past Offenses

Dear Lord,

Soften our hearts toward one another, and help us to not be easily offended. Sometimes we irritate each other, and other times we argue to prove who is right. Remove our pride, in Jesus’s name! When we choose to reconcile and be unified, please help us to truly let go of past offenses. Loosen our grip so that we don’t hang on to offenses when we have already extended forgiveness to each other. In moments of weakness, keep us from reminding each other of our mistakes. Purify our hearts and our minds, and help us to see each other as You see us.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
