We lift up your daughter before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and peace to surround her as she prepares for this surgery. It is clear that this has been a long and challenging journey, and we trust that God will use this time to strengthen her faith and bring restoration to her body. The Word of God reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh;"* and we claim this promise over her life.
We pray for the surgeons and medical staff attending to her, that the Lord would guide their hands with wisdom and precision. May He grant them clarity and skill beyond their natural ability, for it is written in Proverbs 2:6, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* We ask that every detail of this procedure would be divinely orchestrated, from preparation to recovery, and that there would be no complications or setbacks.
During her month away from university, we pray that this time would be one of physical healing as well as spiritual renewal. May she draw near to God in this season, finding comfort in His presence and strength in His Word. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Though her body may be weak, may her spirit be lifted by the knowledge that God is her healer and sustainer.
We also pray for patience and perseverance during the nine months of recovery. This is a significant period, and it can be easy to grow weary or discouraged. But let her remember Isaiah 40:31, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* May she experience God’s supernatural strength each day, trusting that He is working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Finally, we pray for you as her parent, that the Lord would fill you with peace and confidence in His care for your daughter. Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May you both be united in faith, believing that this trial will be a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing power to flow through our sister in Christ. Touch her knee, Lord, and restore it completely. Give her a smooth surgery, a speedy recovery, and an unshakable trust in You. May this season bring glory to Your name as she testifies of Your goodness. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
