We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother as she prepares for her port surgery. Father God, we ask that You would go before the surgeons and medical team, guiding their hands with Your perfect wisdom and skill. We pray for a successful procedure without complications, that Your healing power would surround her and bring peace to her anxious heart. Lord, calm her nerves as only You can, reminding her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We declare Your promise over her life, that by Your stripes she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect will for her recovery. Watch over her through the night, grant her restful sleep, and prepare her body to receive this treatment according to Your divine plan. May she feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that she is never alone.
Father, we also pray for you, her child, as you wait and support her through this journey. Strengthen your faith and fill you with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind both of you that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician and the Author of our faith. Amen.
