I hear these people (mostly women) spraying things on them, or wearing some stones they are advertised to have "magical powers to overcome certain problems. This one is a love potion, that one keeps bad occurrences away. One draws money to you. This is just superstition. No power, had pagan beginnings. But worse yet, I hear some televangelists exploiting their flock, say they have this and that "sacred objects you wear this clothes or pour the water over you and you'll be blessed. Gullible people need to not be drawn to this. Is the request. Worshipping the creature (or object) rather than the Creator.

We hear your deep concern and share in your distress over the growing influence of superstition and false teachings that lead God’s people astray. The practices you describe—spraying potions, wearing "magical" stones, and relying on objects for blessings—are not only empty but dangerously deceptive. They exchange the truth of God for lies, worshiping the creation rather than the Creator, who alone is worthy of our trust and devotion. The apostle Paul warned us in Romans 1:25, "who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."

This is not merely a matter of harmless tradition or personal preference; it is idolatry. The Lord commands us in Exodus 20:3-5, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them." When we place our hope in objects, rituals, or even the words of false teachers who peddle "sacred" items for profit, we turn our backs on the living God. Jeremiah 10:8 reminds us, "But they are together brutish and foolish: the instruction of idols! It is but a stock."

We must also address the exploitation you’ve observed among some televangelists. Scripture is clear that those who teach must do so with integrity, not for dishonest gain. Peter warns in 2 Peter 2:3, "In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words." These false teachers prey on the vulnerable, offering empty promises in exchange for money and devotion. They twist the truth of God’s Word to serve their own interests, and we must stand firm against such deception. Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 24:24, "For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones."

To those who may be tempted by these practices, we say: turn away from these deceptions and fix your eyes on Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). There is no power in stones, potions, or "sacred" objects—only in the name of Jesus. He alone is our refuge, our provider, and our deliverer. The psalmist declares in Psalm 62:5-7, "My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God."

Let us pray together for those who have been led astray by these superstitions and false teachings. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the idolatry and deception that has crept into the lives of Your people. We ask for Your mercy and grace to open the eyes of those who have placed their trust in empty rituals and false promises. Lord, reveal to them the truth of Your Word and the sufficiency of Christ. Break the chains of superstition and fear that bind them, and replace their reliance on objects with a deep, abiding trust in You alone.

We pray for discernment for Your church, that we may recognize and reject the lies of false teachers who exploit the vulnerable for personal gain. Strengthen us to stand firm on the foundation of Your Word and to hold fast to the truth that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Father, we ask that You would expose the motives of those who peddle deception and that You would raise up faithful shepherds who will lead Your people with integrity and love.

Lord, we declare that there is no power in creation that can compare to the power of Your Holy Spirit. We rebuke the spirit of idolatry and deception in the name of Jesus, and we command it to flee from the hearts and minds of Your people. Fill them instead with a hunger for Your Word and a desire to seek You above all else. May they find their hope, their protection, and their provision in You alone.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears our prayers and who delights in drawing near to those who seek You with a sincere heart. We trust in Your promise that if we draw near to You, You will draw near to us (James 4:8). May Your church be a beacon of truth and light in a world filled with darkness and deception. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, we urge you to examine your own heart. Have you placed your trust in anything or anyone other than Jesus Christ? Have you sought blessings or protection through objects or rituals rather than through prayer and faith in God? If so, repent and turn back to Him. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

Let us encourage one another to walk in the truth, to seek God’s face, and to rely solely on His power and provision. The enemy would love nothing more than to distract us with empty superstitions and false teachings, but we serve a God who is greater than all. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be swayed by the deceptions of this world. As Paul exhorts us in Ephesians 6:10-11, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

We hear you, dear one. It's troubling indeed to see people, especially women, turning to superstitions and false teachings for help. It's like they're trying to build their houses on sand instead of the rock that is Jesus Christ. We must remind ourselves and others that true power and blessing come from God alone, not from objects or rituals.

Let's pray for those who have been led astray, that God would open their eyes to the truth. Let's ask Him to help them see that their hope and trust should be in Him alone, not in potions, stones, or even the words of false teachers. We should pray for discernment too, for ourselves and for the church, that we might recognize and reject these deceptive practices.

Remember, Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) Let's stay connected to Him, drawing our strength and hope from Him alone.

Let's also pray for those who exploit others with these false teachings. May God expose their motives and raise up faithful shepherds who will lead His people with integrity and love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your concern and allowed us to stand with you in prayer against the deception of superstition and false teachings. It is our heart’s desire that the Lord would open the eyes of those who are being led astray by empty promises and man-made rituals, revealing to them the true power and sufficiency found only in Christ.

If the Lord has already moved in response to these prayers—whether by protecting someone from falling into these traps, bringing conviction to those who promote such things, or strengthening discernment in His people—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share it so we may rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If, however, you still feel the weight of this burden and see no change, we encourage you to post this request again. We remain committed to interceding with you, asking the Holy Spirit to guard hearts, expose falsehood, and draw all people to worship the Creator alone, not the things He has made. May the Lord continue to equip His church with wisdom and boldness to stand firm in the truth.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
