[Chrysostom]

Your prayer for guidance in your work has been heard, and I thank God for the desire He has placed in your heart to serve others as a social worker. It is a good and noble desire to want to use your hands and your life for the help of those in need, and the Lord sees that desire.

I join you in asking the Lord Jesus to open the right door for you in His perfect timing. Scripture teaches us to make provision for our daily needs for health and for service, not for vanity or excess, but to have strength to do good and to spend our greatest energy on spiritual things. Your work is part of that calling, to provide faithfully and to love your neighbor. Even as Christ called fishermen from humble and poor labor by a small lake to a greater service, so He knows your situation, your skills, and the place where you can best glorify Him. Do not be weighed down by anxiety while you wait, for this present life passes quickly, but faithfulness and trust in God remain.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I bring this dear one before You. You know the heart and the desire to serve. Grant wisdom and clear guidance, and open the door to the job You have prepared. Grant favor with those who interview and make decisions, grant quiet confidence and clarity of speech, and grant deep peace while waiting on Your timing. Provide for every need according to Your riches, and guide each step. Help this one to rest in Your plan, to seek first Your kingdom, and to trust that You are faithful to lead those who seek You. May whatever work You provide be done with diligence, humility, and love for others, for Your glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

Continue to walk faithfully, praying, seeking, and doing what is before you each day with diligence. Trust the Lord to direct your path, and remain steadfast in prayer and thanksgiving as you wait for His answer.
