We join you in prayer for your employment situation and bring your request for a new job before the Lord with thanksgiving.
We pray that God, who knows your needs and cares for you, would open the right door in His timing and wisdom. We ask Him to provide work where you can use the gifts He has given you with diligence and integrity, working as unto the Lord, and to supply what you need for your daily life. We pray for a healthy and respectful work environment, for favor with those who make hiring decisions, and for clarity and peace as you wait and prepare.
We also pray that the Lord would shape your desires according to His will, so that you would seek first His kingdom and trust His provision rather than only what seems desirable in the moment. Scripture reminds us to make provision for what is needful and healthy, and to set our hearts on spiritual things above all, trusting that God will add what we need. May He keep you from anxiety, give you patience in the process, and help you to rest in His faithful care whether the answer comes quickly or through a longer season of waiting.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this need to You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. You know the desire for a new job, for adequate provision, and for a good place to work. We ask for Your guidance, for open doors that no one can shut, and for wisdom to recognize and walk through them. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, grant skill and strength for each interview and application, and let Your peace guard this heart and mind. Give contentment and trust while waiting, and help all work to be done for Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.
