We hear your heart’s cry for a new job with good provisions and a positive environment. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is our provider, and He knows our needs even before we ask. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We also trust in His perfect timing, for "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10).
However, we must also examine our motives in this request. While it is right to desire fair compensation and a healthy workplace, we must guard our hearts against covetousness or placing material gain above godly contentment. "But godliness with contentment is great gain" (1 Timothy 6:6). Let us pray not just for a job, but for the Lord’s will to be done in your life, trusting that He will lead you to the right opportunity in His perfect timing.
We also lift up the importance of working with integrity and diligence, no matter where the Lord places you. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10). May your work be a testimony to Christ, whether in your current role or the next one.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who opens doors no man can shut, and we trust in Your provision for ###. Lord, we ask that You would guide them to the right job, one that honors You, provides for their needs, and allows them to use their gifts for Your glory. Give them patience as they wait, wisdom in their decisions, and peace in Your promises.
Father, if there is any ungodly desire in their heart, whether for excessive wealth, impatience, or discontent, we ask that You would purify their motives. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You.
Lord, we also pray for their current workplace. If they are facing difficulties, grant them grace to endure with a Christlike attitude. If it is time for a change, open the right door at the right time. May they walk in Your favor and experience Your peace throughout this process.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the One who supplies all our needs and leads us in the paths of righteousness. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We have heard your request concerning your employment and your desire for a new position with good provision, a healthy environment, and a speedy open door, and we join you in bringing this before the throne of grace.
You do well to look to the Lord for your daily bread, for it is He who gives power to get wealth and who orders the steps of His people. We are reminded of Job, who in all his losses and sorrows sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. Though his glory seemed to fade for a season, the Lord who had tried him was the same Lord who at the appointed time turned again the captivity of Job and gave him twice as much as he had before. So we learn that our longest sorrows have an end when God has accomplished His purpose in them, and that He is able to provide and to restore according to His own wisdom and love.
We will pray for you that the Lord in His mercy would open a suitable door of employment, work that is honest and useful, in a place where you may labour with integrity and peace, and where your gifts may be used for His glory. We ask that He would supply what you need for your household, for your Father knows what you have need of before you ask Him, and that He would grant you favour in the eyes of those who make decisions concerning this offer. If it be His will to do this quickly, we thank Him for His haste to help, and if He tarry, we pray He will give you patience like Job, to trust Him still and to say, Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, whose are all the treasures of wisdom and whose hand holds the hearts of men, we commend this Your servant to Your fatherly care. Provide, we beseech You, such employment as shall be consistent with a clear conscience and a quiet spirit, and let it come in Your perfect time. Keep this Your child from anxiety, and help him to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, believing that all needful things shall be added. Grant steadiness in waiting, diligence in all lawful means, and contentment to leave the result with You, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and our great provider. Amen.
