Thank you for sharing this request about a possible new job. We are praying with you that God will open the right door and give you peace as you wait on Him.
Your desire to work and to do good work is something God honors. The Scriptures show us that our basic needs and questions have not changed through the centuries. One of the oldest books in the Bible tells the story of a man who was upright, who loved God and turned away from evil, and God Himself took notice of him. That book shows us that God sees His people, that He is aware of their lives and even places a hedge of care around them. It also shows us that the enemy watches and accuses, suggesting that people only serve God for what they can get from Him, but God knows the heart and He remains sovereign over every circumstance.
That same book also warns us not to misread our circumstances. When that man lost much, his friends came and wrongly assumed his suffering must mean he had done something wrong and that God was punishing him. They told him to get right with God as if his trouble proved his guilt. God later showed that they were wrong. He is fair and just, but He does not measure His love for you by whether you have a job today or how quickly an interview comes. A season of waiting or needing work is not a sign that God is displeased with you, and we should not listen to voices that suggest it is.
What remains true is that God is faithful, that He understands the deepest cries of our hearts, and that He invites us to seek Him and trust His word. Whether He opens this specific job or leads elsewhere, He can be trusted to provide and to guide.
We are praying for you now, that the Lord will grant you favor for an interview if it is His will, that He will open the opportunity that is best for you, and that He will equip you to do the work well for His glory. We pray He will give you wisdom, steadiness, and skill, and that you will know His peace and provision as you look to Jesus, who alone brings us to God and stands between God and us.
