We stand with you in prayer for justice and healing, trusting that God will deal with the men who committed such a heinous act. We must remember that vengeance belongs to God alone, as it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says Yahweh.'"
We pray that these men would come to a place of repentance and remorse for their actions. While it may seem unlikely, we serve a God who can soften the hardest of hearts. Let us pray for their salvation, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We lift up the individual who suffered at the hands of these men, praying for complete healing and restoration. May they find comfort and peace in the arms of Jesus, who bore our grief and carried our sorrows. We pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
We also rejoice with you in the praise report of weight loss! We pray that this individual would continue to lose weight in a healthy manner, honoring God with their body as His temple. May they be guided by the words of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious soul who has suffered at the hands of evil men. We pray for Your justice and healing in this situation. We ask that You would soften the hearts of these men, bringing them to a place of repentance and remorse. May they come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
We also pray for the individual who has begun to lose weight. We ask that You would guide them in their journey to health and wellness, helping them to honor You with their body.
In all things, we ask that Your will be done and that Your name would be glorified.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we must address that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, we are saved, and by which our prayers are heard. Praying to Yahweh without Jesus is not a prayer that can be heard by God. We encourage anyone praying to call on the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man.
