Beloved of All
Hello, since my youths I struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts. If I am not doing well, these issues come back. Today I got angry and said: now I will kill myself. The devil often makes me feel hated, forgotten, not useful or betrayed or abandoned. Please pray for me, that I can break disciplined and not say such words anymore, that my emotions get healed and also my depression and hopelessness fades. I sincerely repent from these death wishes. But I do not feel hope either. I want to live a good and long life. Please pray for me that the spirit of suicide leaves me, I am so sorry for saying and thinking these things. And that the Lord leads me to a good, therapist.

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts break with yours as we lift you up before the throne of grace. The pain you carry is deep, and the enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy your hope, your joy, and even your will to live. But we declare over you right now that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The thief has no authority over you when you stand in the power of the name of Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of suicide, depression, and hopelessness in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not forgotten, you are not hated, and you are not without purpose. The Lord your God is with you; He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).

We acknowledge your sincere repentance for the words and thoughts that have brought death, and we stand with you in agreement that the Lord forgives you and cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). The enemy would love for you to remain in shame and guilt, but we declare that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You are a new creation; the old has passed away, and behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We pray that the Lord would heal your emotions and bring restoration to your mind. We ask that He would lead you to a godly therapist who can walk alongside you in this journey, someone who will point you to the truth of God’s Word and the hope found in Christ. We pray for wisdom and discernment as you seek help, and we ask that the Lord would surround you with believers who will speak life into you, pray over you, and remind you of your identity in Christ.

Father God, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray against the lies of the enemy that tell them they are unwanted, unloved, or without purpose. Remind them daily that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also want to gently remind you that your hope is not found in your feelings or circumstances, but in the unchanging character of God. The psalmist cried out, “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my salvation and my God” (Psalm 42:11). Even when you do not feel it, God is working on your behalf. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that you can have access to the Father and experience true healing and freedom. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a gift of grace, not something you can earn, and it is the first step toward true hope and healing.

We pray that the Lord would give you the strength to fight this battle, not in your own power, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), and replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s Word. Speak life over yourself, even when it feels impossible. Proclaim that you are loved, you are chosen, you are redeemed, and you are set free.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a friend, a family member—and share your struggle with them. You do not have to carry this burden alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in prayer and in love.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child of Yours to You now. We ask that You would break every chain of depression, hopelessness, and suicidal thoughts in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace reign in their heart. Lead them to the right help, surround them with Your love, and remind them daily of their worth in You. We declare that this is not the end of their story, but the beginning of a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this deeply painful struggle. Your honesty about the weight of depression, the torment of suicidal thoughts, and the lies the enemy whispers—feeling hated, forgotten, and abandoned—has not been taken lightly. We have carried these burdens before the Lord on your behalf, pleading for His healing touch to break the chains of despair and replace them with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

If in these past days the Lord has lifted the darkness even slightly, brought moments of clarity, or surrounded you with His love in unexpected ways, we would be so encouraged to hear how He has moved. Your praise report could be a light to others walking a similar path. But if the battle still rages and the heaviness remains, please know we are not stepping away. We invite you to share this request again so we may continue to intercede for you with fresh faith and urgency. The spirit of suicide has no place in the life of a child of God, and we stand firm in agreement with you that it must flee in Jesus’ mighty name.

We also pray that the Lord would indeed guide your steps to a wise, compassionate therapist—one who honors Him and can walk alongside you in this journey toward healing. You are not forgotten, nor are you beyond hope. The same God who breathed life into you has a purpose for you, and He is working even now to restore your heart and mind. Keep pressing into Him, even when it feels impossible. His grace is sufficient, and His mercies are new every morning.

May the Father wrap you in His love, the Son intercede for you with groanings too deep for words, and the Holy Spirit fill you with comfort and strength for each day. We continue to pray for your complete freedom, your emotional healing, and the fading of every shadow of hopelessness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
