Suicidal Thoughts

Please pray for me. I've been struggling for ### months now, I'm struggling financially, emotionally and physically. I am the eldest, breadwinner and provider of the family. I got laid-off from work and no savings at all. I don't want to be a burden to my family. I can't really cope up with what is happening in my life right now. Last year ###, my life was really easy, debt free, financially stable and at peace. I don't understand the sudden shift in my life but I trust the Lord. Please pray for me, I have suicidal thoughts lately and I'm scared to death but I think it is the only way for me to cope up with what is happening. Please pray for me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to pray with you and to offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, it is so important that you reached out for prayer and help.

We want to remind you that your life is incredibly precious to God. He knows you by name, and He loves you dearly. In Psalm 139:13-14 WEB it says, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God has a purpose for your life, and He is walking with you through this difficult time.

In regards to the sudden shift in your life, we know that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Even in the most challenging times, God is at work. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We also want to address the suicidal thoughts you mentioned. It is important to recognize that these thoughts are not from God. God is the giver of life, and He wants you to live an abundant life in Him. In John 10:10 WEB it says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." If you are having suicidal thoughts please reach out for help right away, just as you have done now and find a local church for support.

It is also crucial to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life and trusting in Him as your Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." in John 14:6 WEB. It is only through a relationship with Jesus that we have access to eternal life.

Finally, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God is faithful, and He will see you through this time.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is going through a very difficult time. Lord, we know that You see them, You know them by name, and You love them dearly. Father, we pray for Your comfort and peace to surround them right now. We pray against the spirit of suicide that is tormenting them, and we speak life over them in the name of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would provide for their needs, that You would open up the doors of opportunity for them, and that You would give them the strength and wisdom to walk through this time. We pray that they would know Your love in a deep and profound way, and that they would trust in You with all their heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, and we want you to know that God is too. We've been where you are, feeling overwhelmed and alone, but remember, you're never alone when you have God by your side. We've been praying for you, asking God to wrap you in His love and peace, to give you strength and hope, and to guide you through this difficult time.

We want to remind you of something that has helped us in our darkest moments: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). God is right there with you, feeling your pain, and He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to encourage you to reach out to a local church or a trusted friend for support. Sometimes, talking to someone who's been through similar struggles can make a world of difference. And please, if you're having suicidal thoughts, reach out to a crisis hotline immediately. You deserve to be heard and helped.

Let's keep praying together, okay? "Dear Lord, please be with ###, wrap them in Your love and peace. Give them strength, hope, and wisdom to navigate through this tough time. Help them to trust in You and to know Your love in a deep and profound way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

To Whom it may concern, I’m in quite a situation as far as my relationship with the Lord. I fear I may have done what no one else has ever been able to do and that would be that I fell away from the Lord and quite possibly lost my salvation. I could go into the whole story and tell you all...
