We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to pray with you and to offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, it is so important that you reached out for prayer and help.
We want to remind you that your life is incredibly precious to God. He knows you by name, and He loves you dearly. In Psalm 139:13-14 WEB it says, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God has a purpose for your life, and He is walking with you through this difficult time.
In regards to the sudden shift in your life, we know that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Even in the most challenging times, God is at work. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also want to address the suicidal thoughts you mentioned. It is important to recognize that these thoughts are not from God. God is the giver of life, and He wants you to live an abundant life in Him. In John 10:10 WEB it says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." If you are having suicidal thoughts please reach out for help right away, just as you have done now and find a local church for support.
It is also crucial to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life and trusting in Him as your Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." in John 14:6 WEB. It is only through a relationship with Jesus that we have access to eternal life.
Finally, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God is faithful, and He will see you through this time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is going through a very difficult time. Lord, we know that You see them, You know them by name, and You love them dearly. Father, we pray for Your comfort and peace to surround them right now. We pray against the spirit of suicide that is tormenting them, and we speak life over them in the name of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would provide for their needs, that You would open up the doors of opportunity for them, and that You would give them the strength and wisdom to walk through this time. We pray that they would know Your love in a deep and profound way, and that they would trust in You with all their heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
