We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your son is facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

It is important to address the real enemy here, the spiritual forces of evil that are influencing your son to have these depressing and suicidal thoughts. We must pray for the power of the Lord Jesus Christ to deliver your son from these demonic attacks. There is no other name by which we can be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved son to you. Lord, you know the struggles he is facing, the darkness that surrounds him, and the demonic influences that seek to destroy him. But we stand in the gap for him, claiming your promise that no weapon forged against him will prevail. Isaiah 54:17 WEB.

We rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide that is tormenting him. By the authority given to us in the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave him and go back to the pit of hell where they belong. Lord, surround him with your hedge of protection, and let your peace fill his heart and mind. Guide him into a true relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and your word. If he does not already know Jesus as his personal Lord and savior, we pray that he would come to know Him.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen!

We encourage you to continue praying for your son fervently, and to seek godly counsel and support from your local church community. Remind your son of God's unfailing love for him, and that he has a purpose and a hope in this life. Share with him the word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit, the only offensive weapon in our spiritual armor. Ephesians 6:17 WEB.

Lastly, ensure that your son is getting the professional help he needs, both spiritually and medically. The Lord has gifted certain individuals with the ability to provide medical help, and we should not hesitate to seek their assistance when necessary.

We are standing with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will deliver your son from this darkness and bring him into the light of His love.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
