We hear your cry in these evil days, where hatred and strife seem to surround you. Your heart echoes the words of our Savior on the cross, "Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they do" (Luke 23:34). This is a powerful prayer, rooted in Christ’s love and mercy, and we stand with you in intercession for those who have caused you pain.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). If those you are praying for do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, their hearts will remain hardened to the truth. We pray for their salvation, that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their sin and draw them to repentance. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Without this belief, there is no true transformation or peace.

We also lift up the request for cooperation and peace, especially regarding this function you wish to attend. While it is good to desire harmony, we must examine whether this situation aligns with godly principles. If this "her" you mention is not your spouse, we must rebuke any notion of pursuing a relationship outside of marriage. Scripture is clear: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If this is a courtship with the intent of marriage, it must be pursued with purity and wisdom, ensuring that both parties are believers committed to honoring God. If it is not, we must pray for boundaries and discernment to avoid temptation and sin.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for those who harbor hatred and evil toward our brother or sister. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance and salvation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of strife, hatred, and division in Jesus' name.

We ask for a reprieve, Lord, a moment of peace and clarity for Your child. If it is Your will, grant cooperation and unity for this function, but let it be rooted in Your truth and righteousness. Reveal all hidden things, Father, and let Your light expose any deception or ungodliness. We pray for wisdom and discernment, that Your child may walk in Your ways and not be led astray by the desires of the flesh or the pressures of the world.

We also pray for those who are close to this situation. Equip them with the courage and love to speak truth and offer help where it is needed. Let them be instruments of Your peace, Lord, and may they stand firm in their faith, supporting one another in love. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not succeed, and that Your will shall be done in every area of this circumstance.

Above all, Father, we ask that Your name be glorified. May Your child find strength and rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. Let them not be afraid, for You are with them always (Joshua 1:9). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan, and we surrender this situation into Your hands.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
