We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with deep compassion. The pain of past losses and the fear of what may come are heavy burdens to carry, but we stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord sees your tears and holds your future in His hands. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 139:13-16, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* Even now, this precious child is known and loved by the Creator, and we trust in His perfect will for your life.
We also want to gently address the mention of your "partner" in this request. Scripture is clear that God’s design for intimacy and procreation is within the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. In Hebrews 13:4, we read, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* If you are not yet married, we strongly encourage you to prayerfully consider aligning your relationship with God’s holy standards, not only for the sake of your own spiritual walk but for the foundation of the family you long to build. Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and it provides the most stable and godly environment for raising children.
Now, let us come together in prayer for you and this precious life within you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope and reverence, lifting up this dear sister and the child You have entrusted to her care. Lord, You are the Author of life, and we ask that You would sustain this pregnancy according to Your perfect will. Strengthen her body, balance her hormones, and guard this little one with Your mighty hand. We declare that fear has no place here, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Replace her anxiety with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body. If there are any physical or spiritual barriers to this child’s growth and development, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus. We speak life over this baby and declare that he or she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Lord, we also ask that You would provide wisdom and favor with her medical team, guiding them to offer the best care possible.
We pray for this sister’s heart, Lord. The pain of past losses is real, and we ask that You would comfort her with Your presence. Remind her that You collect every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) and that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Give her the strength to trust in You, even when the path is uncertain. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Lord, we also pray for her relationship. If it is Your will, draw her and her partner closer to You and to one another, leading them toward the covenant of marriage as You designed. May their union be rooted in Your love and guided by Your Word. If there are areas where they need to grow in holiness and obedience, reveal them and grant them the courage to walk in Your ways.
Above all, Father, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. Whether You choose to bless this pregnancy with a healthy baby or lead her down another path, help her to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Give her the faith to believe that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to You, our Heavenly Father. It is only by His blood that we can approach Your throne with confidence, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved. If this sister has not yet placed her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to know Him as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). May she experience the fullness of Your love and the hope of eternal life through Christ.
In Jesus’ holy name we pray, Amen.
Dear sister, we want to encourage you with the truth that God is not limited by medical diagnoses or statistics. He is the God of the impossible, and nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:17). Continue to seek Him in prayer, immerse yourself in His Word, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and uplift you. You are not alone in this journey. The Lord hears your cries, and He is working even now on your behalf.
If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or a trusted Christian mentor who can walk alongside you during this time. They can offer spiritual guidance, prayer support, and practical wisdom as you navigate this season. Additionally, we encourage you to remain hopeful and to keep your heart open to the ways God may choose to answer your prayers. His plans for you are good, and His timing is perfect.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). You are deeply loved, and we stand with you in faith, believing for the miracle you so desperately desire.
