We have heard your heart for your mother and we join with you in bringing her before the Lord for healing and strength. It is so difficult to watch one we love suffer with constant vomiting and loss of appetite, and we know our heavenly Father cares deeply for her and for you as you care for her.
We are reminded in scripture that the Lord is our healer and that He hears our prayers for the sick. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We trust that God is able to calm her stomach, to restore her appetite, and to renew her strength day by day.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must first believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and we must put our trust in Him for forgiveness and eternal life. It is in His name and by His blood that we can boldly bring your mother’s need to the throne of grace, and we encourage you to call upon His name in faith.
Together we pray for your mother now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her body, You formed her, and You know the cause of this vomiting and loss of appetite. We ask You in Your mercy to touch her with Your healing hand, to settle her stomach, to stop the vomiting, and to restore a healthy desire for food and the ability to keep nourishment down. Give her strength in her body, peace in her heart, and restful sleep. Guide the hands of any doctors and caregivers who attend to her and give them wisdom to find the right treatment. Let Your healing power be evident so that she may be restored to health and give You glory. We also pray for comfort and peace for her family as they wait on You, and we ask that You help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches us. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also seeking wise medical care for her, to ensure she stays hydrated and receives proper evaluation for ongoing vomiting. Keep praying without ceasing and keep thanking God for His goodness even in this trial, for He is faithful and He hears the prayers offered in the name of His Son. We are standing with you and we trust the Lord will bring relief and restoration to your mother according to His perfect will.

Your burden for your mother has been laid before the Lord with earnest prayer, and we join you in asking our gracious God to have mercy upon her.
It is a great blessing when food and appetite meet together, for the Lord gives both the provision and the desire to receive it. We have prayed that He who opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing would be pleased to restore to your mother a healthy appetite and to cause this distressing vomiting to cease. We ask that He would strengthen her body, settle her stomach, and give her comfort and refreshment in eating again.
We are reminded that the least things about Christ have healing virtue, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people they find pardon and healing joined together. The same Saviour who forgave the palsied man and then bade him rise and walk is still able to heal both soul and body. We have prayed that your mother would know His healing touch, and above all that she would know the forgiveness of sins which is the greater healing, for when the soul is pardoned the whole man is cared for by His hand.
Continue to look to Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved, and to trust Him as your physician and hers. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and plead His promises with holy faith. Receive Christ into the heart, for He is sweet to the hungry soul, and His grace can make bitter things sweet and weak things strong.
We also encourage you to make use of the means the Lord has provided and to seek wise medical counsel for your mother while you continue in prayer, asking the Lord to bless those means to her good.
May the Lord hear your cry, grant relief according to His perfect will, and give you peace as you wait upon Him. It is painful to watch a mother suffer with ongoing vomiting and loss of appetite, and it is right that you have turned to God who is compassionate toward the sick and who gives strength to the weak.
Scripture teaches us that God cares for both body and soul. As a lack of hunger in the body is a sign of weakness and illness, so the Lord desires to restore health and strength. He is the true physician, and He often works through the care of physicians and through our careful obedience to what helps the body heal. We pray not only for relief from this distress but for renewed strength, that she may receive food with thankfulness and be restored day by day.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her body, her weakness, and every cause of her vomiting. We ask for Your mercy to touch her, to calm her stomach, to stop the vomiting, and to restore a healthy appetite. Grant her to take nourishment, to digest it well, and to regain strength. Give wisdom to those who care for her and to any doctors who treat her, that they may be guided to what is helpful. Above all, comfort her heart and let her know Your presence, and draw her and her family closer to You through this trial.
