We hear your burden for your mother and we join with you in bringing her before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body that the vomiting would cease and her appetite and strength would be restored.
We are reminded of the Lord's compassion for us in our sickness, for it is written Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and also But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear mother to You. You know her body, You formed her, and You know the cause of this vomiting and loss of appetite. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch her stomach and her whole digestive system, calm the nausea, stop the vomiting, and restore a healthy desire for food and the ability to keep nourishment down. Grant her strength, comfort, and rest, and guide the hands and wisdom of any doctors or caregivers who are tending to her. Let her feel Your peace and presence in this weakness, and let her body be restored to health according to Your will. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us. 1 Peter 5:7. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Keep caring for her with patience and love, and continue to bring your requests to God, for it is written In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

Your care for your mother in this affliction is heard with sympathy, and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace. It is a great blessing when appetite and food meet together, and we have prayed that the Lord in His mercy would restore to her both the desire for food and the power to retain it, and that the vomiting which now wearies her would be stayed by His gracious hand.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is the heavenly Physician, and that healing virtue flows from Him. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing. He who said to the palsied man, thy sins are forgiven thee, and then bade him rise and walk, still shows that pardon and healing are in His hands. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and with Him is forgiveness and restoration for body and soul.
Let us pray together for her. O Lord our God, look in compassion upon this dear mother. Lay Thy healing hand upon her, quiet her sickness, cause her vomiting to cease, restore her appetite and strengthen her frame. Give wisdom to those who minister to her with medical skill, and give peace and comfort to her family who watch over her in love. Above all, create in her and in those who love her a spiritual appetite for Christ Himself, who alone can satisfy the hungry soul, and grant pardon and healing through His precious blood. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour and hope, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
