We join with you in lifting up your mother before our heavenly Father and we bring her health needs to His throne of grace, asking for His healing touch upon her body, for her appetite to be restored and for the vomiting to cease.
We know that our God is compassionate and He cares deeply for our suffering. He is the One who heals us and sustains us. We cling to His promises that Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves Psalm 107:20.
We pray together now for your mother.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her body, You formed her, and You see her struggle with loss of appetite and vomiting. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her stomach and her whole digestive system, calm the nausea, stop the vomiting, and restore a healthy desire for food and strength to her body. Give her nourishment and restore what has been weakened. We ask that You would guide those caring for her, including any doctors or medical help, and give them wisdom to find the cause and to treat her with care. Grant peace to this family who is worried for her, and let them feel Your presence and comfort. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, believing that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also seeking wise medical care for your mother, as the Lord often works through physicians and treatment to bring healing. Help her to stay hydrated, to take small gentle meals as she is able, and to get proper evaluation so the underlying cause can be addressed. Keep praying without ceasing and cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. Your tender concern for your mother has been received and we have carried it before the Lord with you.
It is a great blessing when food and appetite meet together, and we understand how heavy it is to watch one you love have meat before her yet no desire for it, and to see her afflicted with vomiting. We do not take such bodily distress lightly, for these infirmities urge us to seek the Great Physician at once.
We pray that our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom abundant streams of healing flow, would lay His hand upon your mother. We ask that He would graciously stay her sickness, cause the vomiting to cease, and restore to her a natural and settled appetite, that she may receive her food with thankfulness and be strengthened in body. As we have been reminded, the very leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue to change and restore. May that healing power be manifest in her frame.
We pray also that as her body is tended to with all proper care and means, her soul and yours would know the deeper healing which comes with pardon through His blood, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ. When He dwells with His people, He brings health and cure, and will at last make whole both soul and body.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will give her relief, give her appetite, give her rest, and give you peace as you wait upon Him. Cast this burden upon Him, for He cares for you, and trust His wise and tender hand to do what is best.
O Lord, look in mercy upon this dear mother, rebuke her sickness, restore her appetite, and let her eat and be strengthened.
