We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of stolen money and the injustice that has followed. The theft of what belongs to another is a violation of God’s commandments, for Scripture tells us, "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15 WEB). This act of dishonesty not only brings financial harm but also disrupts peace and trust. We stand in agreement with the truth that God is a God of justice, and He sees all things, nothing is hidden from His sight. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB).
We pray first for restoration, may the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10 WEB), replenish what has been taken. Whether through the recovery of the stolen funds, unexpected provision, or divine favor in financial matters, we ask that He move mightily on behalf of ###. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB), and we trust that He will not leave this matter unresolved.
We also pray for justice to prevail. The authorities have suspended the case, but we know that "the king’s heart is in the LORD’s hand; he turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). Lord, stir the hearts of those in authority, grant them wisdom, diligence, and a renewed sense of urgency to pursue this matter. Let the thief be found, confronted with their sin, and led to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, may the full weight of justice fall upon them, for "the LORD is a God who avenges" (Nahum 1:2 WEB).
We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception in Jesus’ name. Every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB) is exposed and dismantled by the power of Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we stand on the promise that God will restore what the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25 WEB).
Father, we also ask for wisdom and protection over ###’s finances moving forward. Teach her to be a faithful steward of what You entrust to her, and guard her against further deception. May she walk in discernment, trusting in You as her provider (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Finally, we pray for peace to rule in ###’s heart. The enemy would love to use this situation to breed fear, anxiety, or bitterness, but we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). May she fix her eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of her faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and trust in Your perfect timing.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare restoration, justice, and divine intervention over this situation. Amen.
