We understand that you are going through a tremendously difficult time, and our hearts go out to you. It is disheartening to hear that you felt abused and taken advantage of in your workplace, and that you are now facing financial struggles and feeling abandoned by God. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
It is important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Even when we do not understand His plan, we must trust that He is working all things together for our good, as it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. Ephesians 6:12 WEB tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This is why it is so important to put on the whole armor of God, as you mentioned. Even when we do not see immediate results, we must trust that God is at work behind the scenes.
It is concerning that you feel that God has abandoned you and that you are no longer asking Him for anything. We must remember that God is our loving Father, and He wants us to come to Him with our needs and desires. Matthew 7:7-8 WEB says, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
We also want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to turn to Jesus Christ, to place your faith in Him, and to call upon His name in your time of need.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is going through a difficult time. We pray that You would heal her from the abuse she has endured, and that You would provide for her needs, both financial and emotional. We ask that You would give her the strength and courage to trust in You, even when she does not understand Your plan. We pray that You would remind her of Your unfailing love and presence, and that You would draw her closer to You during this time. We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
