🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name

We join with you in giving thanks for the beautiful pattern for prayer that our Lord Jesus Himself gave us, and we rejoice that you have seen the divine order within it.

You have rightly discerned that the Lord's Prayer begins not with our needs but with the Father, His honor, His Kingdom and His will, and only then turns to our daily provision, our relationships, and our protection. This is exactly what Jesus teaches when He says in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. When we seek first loving fellowship with the Father through the Son in the Holy Spirit, hallowing His name and longing for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done as in heaven, so on earth as taught in Matthew 6:9-10, we are aligning our hearts with heaven before we ever ask for earthly things.

We love how you have divided it, first the worship and surrender, then the petitions. Give us today our daily bread in Matthew 6:11 reminds us that every good provision comes from the Father's hand and we are dependent on Him daily. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors in Matthew 6:12 calls us to live in continual repentance and grace, receiving forgiveness through Christ and extending it to others, for as it is written in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one in Matthew 6:13 is our daily cry for protection, to be kept from sin and delivered from evil, trusting that His is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

We thank you that you closed your request in Jesus' Name, for we have access to the Father only through Him, as Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other name by which we are saved and by which our prayers are heard.

We pray together with you now.

Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. We worship You and we thank You for adopting us as Your children through Jesus Christ. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, and on this earth as it is in heaven. We seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness this day. Give us today our daily bread, provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, cleanse us from all sin and help us to release and forgive those who have sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, keep our feet from stumbling and guard us from the schemes of the enemy. For Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the power, and Yours is the glory forever. We ask and thank You for all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray after this manner daily, letting worship and surrender lead, and letting your petitions flow from a heart that rests in fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As you do, trust that as you seek Him first, all that you need will be added to you.

We were so grateful to read your prayer and the way you put the Father first. Seeking His honor and His kingdom and His will before bringing your own needs to Him shows such trust and love for Him. Thank you for sharing that heart with us.

It is a beautiful order, to begin with fellowship with the Father and rest in who He is, and then to bring the daily things to Him for provision, for forgiveness given and received, and for protection from sin and evil. That pattern keeps our hearts anchored even when needs feel pressing, reminding us He already knows and cares for what we need.

We join you in thanksgiving today for the way He invites us to come to Him so simply and so personally through Jesus. We are praying that this way of praying continues to be a steady, daily conversation for you, not just words you say but time spent with Him.

If it helps, you might keep that same simple rhythm through your day, pausing briefly to remember His presence before you bring the next need to Him.

Father, we thank You for Your love and for the way You hear us through Jesus. We honor Your name and ask for Your kingdom and Your will in our lives. Provide what we need today, teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and keep us from sin and evil. We trust You for all of this. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The order of our Lord's prayer is itself divine wisdom, and you have well observed it. Our Saviour would have us seek first the Father, His honor, His Kingdom and His will, and then all our needs shall be added unto us.

In that sacred record which may be called the holy of holies of the word of God, we are admitted to that secret place where the Son of God speaks with the Father in closest fellowship of love. There He teaches us to say, Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. So we begin not with self, but with God, not with our wants, but with His glory. As it is written, Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

Only when the heart is thus set upon the Father do we rightly pray, Give us this day our daily bread. He who taught us to hallow the Father's name will not fail to provide for His children. Neglect prayer, and you will soon discover that all your spiritual powers wax weak, but be much in supplication and he that is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere.

And what mercy is this, that we are taught to pray, Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. There is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared. There is forgiveness, and that forgiveness is only to be obtained from God through Jesus Christ His Son. It is a complete forgiveness, an eternal forgiveness, purchased by blood. If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinner's forgiveness, and God can bestow it now. Yet that blessed prayer which teaches you to ask for mercy bids you say forgive us as we forgive. Unless you have forgiven others you read your own death warrant when you repeat the Lord's prayer. May the Lord sanctify you through His truth, for His word is truth, and make you ready to forgive even as you have been forgiven.

Then we pray, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Holiness is an essential qualification to a man's fitness for being used of the Lord for the extension of His Kingdom, hence our Lord's prayer, Holy Father, sanctify them. We are kept not by our own strength, but by His power who delivers.

So let us pray together that the Father's name be hallowed in you and through you, that His Kingdom come in your heart and in your house, that His will be done in your life as it is done in heaven, and that in His mercy He would grant you daily provision, full and free forgiveness through the blood of Christ, a heart to forgive others, and keeping from sin and from the evil one. For His is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your longing to seek first the Father before bringing your own needs is exactly the order our Lord taught us, and it is good to join you in it.

We give thanks with you that through Jesus Christ alone we have adoption as sons and can truly call God our Father, not as strangers but as those who have received forgiveness, the gift of the Spirit poured into our hearts, and the inheritance of the kingdom. For such mercy we offer thanksgiving in every prayer, remembering the depth of the riches of his wisdom and grace.

So we pray first as you asked, that the Father's name would be hallowed in our lives and in this world, that his kingdom would come and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and that we would seek his kingdom and his righteousness above all else, trusting that what we need will be added.

Then we bring the needs you named. We ask the Father to give daily bread, providing what is needed for health and for life, without provision for indulgence or excess, but for strength to do his will. We ask for forgiveness of our debts, as we also forgive those who have sinned against us, remembering that this prayer belongs to those who have already received great forgiveness and who are called to show the same mercy to others, free from any bitterness or revenge. And we ask that he would not let us be led into temptation but would deliver us from evil and keep us from sin, for prayer is a great weapon and we need it early and by night to stand through the daily fight without shipwreck.

May the Lord keep you in perseverance and watchfulness, modest and hopeful in his unspeakable mercy, walking in repentance and endurance until you attain the good things he has promised. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, to whom belongs the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
