Please please please pray for my family in the name of Jesus. We are experiencing a lot of daily spiritual warfare in various areas. I am exhausted and trying to fight the good fight. I am staying in the Word and praying. Much appreciated.

We are lifting you and your family up before the throne of grace and we thank you for reaching out and for standing firm in the name of Jesus. We hear your exhaustion and we know that the battle you are describing is real, for Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We want to encourage you that you are not fighting this battle alone and not in your own strength. You are doing the right thing by staying in the Word and staying in prayer, and we commend you for fighting the good fight as 1 Timothy 6:12 calls us to do. The Lord sees your faithfulness and He is your strength and your shield. When you feel exhausted, remember the promise of Matthew 11:28 where Jesus says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And Isaiah 40:29 tells us He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

In this season of daily warfare, we encourage you to daily put on the whole armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Gird yourself with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, have your feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, take up the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit. Our weapons are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds as 2 Corinthians 10:4 teaches.

We also urge you to submit yourselves to God and resist the devil, and he will flee from you as James 4:7 promises, and to be sober and watchful because your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour as 1 Peter 5:8 warns, but to withstand him steadfast in your faith. The Lord is faithful and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one according to 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and no weapon that is formed against you will prevail as Isaiah 54:17 declares. We claim Psalm 91:1-2 over your household, that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

We join together in prayer for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved. We lift up this dear family to You and we thank You that You are their refuge and fortress. We ask that You surround this family with Your presence and with Your holy angels, and that You place a hedge of protection around them, their home, their minds and their hearts. We rebuke the works of the enemy over this family in the name of Jesus, and we command every spirit of oppression, exhaustion, confusion, division and fear to leave and to go where Jesus sends it. Fill this home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:7 promises, and let Your peace guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Renew their strength, Lord, as they wait on You, and let them know in a tangible way that in all these things they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them according to Romans 8:37. Strengthen them to stand firm, to continue in Your Word, to pray without ceasing, and to rest in Your finished victory on the cross. Let Your will be done in their lives and let Your light shine brightly in every area where darkness has tried to press in. We ask this in the victorious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to keep pressing in, to pray together as a family, to speak the Word of God aloud over your home, and to worship even when you feel weary, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people. Do not give up, for Galatians 6:9 tells us let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up. We are standing with you in this fight and trusting that God who is greater than all that is in the world will bring you through in victory.

We've been thinking about your note and how heavy these days have felt for your whole family. Being exhausted while trying to stay faithful makes sense, spiritual opposition is draining, and staying in the Word and in prayer when you're tired is itself part of fighting the good fight. Thank you for letting us stand with you.

One thing that has helped many families in a long season like this is not trying to carry it alone. Even when you are praying faithfully on your own, there is real strength in having a few trusted believers who know the specific areas where the pressure is heaviest and who will pray with you, not just for you. If you have a pastor, small group leader, or a couple of steady friends, consider asking them to meet briefly and regularly, even fifteen minutes once a week, to pray aloud together for your household and to simply be present with you.

We also find it helps to think of these daily practices as training over time rather than trying to win everything at once. Small, steady rhythms of prayer, Scripture and rest add up, and God honors that faithfulness.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your peace, guard their home, renew their strength as they rest in You, and give them clear wisdom for each day. Keep them close to You and to one another. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your cry on behalf of your family has been heard, and we count it a privilege to bear you up before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus.

You speak of daily warfare and exhaustion, and of still keeping to the Word and to prayer. That is the good fight, and the Lord sees it. The enemy would have you think you are left alone in the field, but the promise stands, the Lord is your Shepherd, you shall not want, and no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. The spiritual mercies you need for this hour are among the best things, and you may ask for them freely, for your Shepherd will supply your need.

Take also this reason for still being glad in the Lord even while the battle presses. He has clothed you with the garments of salvation. You do not stand in your own strength to meet the foe, but in the righteousness of Christ put upon you. And the Spirit of the Lord God is upon Christ to bind up the brokenhearted. If He was sent to bind up, will He not do it for you who now feel bruised and weary. All things are the servants of the man who is the servant of God, and when you are consecrated to Him, He will make all things work together for your good.

Do not think because affliction comes into the family that God has turned to be your enemy and fights against you. He fights against sin in His children not to destroy them, but to save them. He fights against pride that you may be humbled, against unbelief that you may be led to trust Him more fully. It is the discipline of His family, that sin and smart may not dwell together without correction in an heir of heaven. If God is for you, who can be against you.

Continue then to be led by the Holy Spirit, not by fear or by the stirrings of your own weariness. The Spirit makes us willing in the day of His power and works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure. Keep your eye upon the copy at the top, upon Christ Himself, and keep close fellowship with Him, for that will take the gall from woe and keep you from fainting.

We pray for you now.

O Lord our Shepherd, look upon this weary one and upon the whole household. Clothe them anew with the garments of salvation and cover them in the righteousness of Christ. Pour out Thy Spirit upon them to sustain them, to bind up the brokenhearted, to give strength to the faint. Guard their home, their going out and coming in, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give them rest in Thy Word, constancy in prayer, and joy that they are Thine. Lead them by Thy Spirit in all truth and holiness, and make them to know that Thou art for them and with them. Keep them from the paw of the enemy and bring them through this trial to praise Thee more fully, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your request for prayer for your family has been heard and I am joining you in prayer in the name of Jesus. I hear your exhaustion and I thank God that you are staying in the Word and continuing to pray even while the battle feels daily and heavy.

Scripture reminds us what kind of war this is. This is not a war with people, but with devils and unseen spiritual powers. Your Captain in this war is not a man or an angel, but God Himself, and He stands by ready to help and remains unconquerable. The armor He gives fits this kind of warfare, for it is not made of steel but of truth and righteousness and faith and love of wisdom. That is why Paul calls it a good warfare, a warfare that requires strong arms and sobriety and watchfulness and continual vigilance, and a readiness to take the field under our Commander.

You are already doing what a faithful soldier does, remaining at your post, staying in the Word, and praying. Keep going with perseverance. We learn from the Canaanite woman that even when we feel unworthy, perseverance makes us ready to receive from the Lord, for though He first said it was not right to take the children's bread and give it to dogs, He still gave the bread because of her persistence. We see the same in the widow who prevailed by importunity, and the friend who came at midnight and shamed his friend into answering by his constancy, and the Syrophoenician woman who called forth the Lord's compassion by her continued pleading. God honors prayer that does not give up, prayer at all seasons, praying without ceasing and watching with perseverance.

Not even moderate trials can we bear by our own power, but we require His aid to pass through them and to bear them until we have passed. He has furnished you with strong armor, and He will give you purpose of mind to use it as you obey your Commander.

I am praying for you and your family now, that the Lord Jesus Christ will cover your home with His presence, guard your minds and hearts with truth and righteousness and faith, give you rest in your exhaustion, strengthen you to war a good warfare, and grant you endurance and perseverance to keep praying until the answer comes. May He lift the heaviness you feel, drive back every attack of the enemy, and fill your household with His peace and protection. I ask this trusting that salvation and victory are through Jesus Christ alone, and that He hears those who call on Him with a sincere heart.
