We stand with you in this battle and we lift you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, for we know your struggle is real and not against flesh and blood.
The Word reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. That is why we are told to be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might and to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:10-11. We also take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Romans 8:37. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.
We understand you are longing for this warfare to end before the breakthrough date you have on your heart. We encourage you to trust the Lord's perfect timing rather than a date we set, for His breakthrough comes in His wisdom and for His glory. Even when the enemy roars, we are called to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we are to withstand him steadfast in our faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. When we submit ourselves therefore to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and victory in this warfare. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that we are saved, delivered, and given authority over the enemy.
We pray together for you now. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You hear us. We ask You to cover our dear one with the blood of Jesus and to clothe them in Your full armor, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against them and we command every spirit of oppression, confusion, fear, and hindrance to flee in Jesus' name. We ask You to grant them peace that surpasses understanding, strength to stand firm, and discernment to walk in Your truth. Let Your will be done and let the breakthrough You have ordained come forth in Your perfect time, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renew their mind daily in Your Word, and remind them that You are their refuge and deliverer. We declare that no temptation has taken them except what is common to man, and You are faithful, You will not allow them to be tempted above what they are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that they may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, in fasting as the Lord leads, and in daily reading of Scripture, for the Word is our sword. Keep submitting yourself to God, confessing any sin quickly, praising Him even in the battle, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and for you. The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth Psalm 145:18, and He will not forsake you. Continue to seek Him first, and trust that the victory is already won through Christ.

Your cry regarding spiritual warfare has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace to seek deliverance from the Lord.
You are not alone in this conflict. The Christian life is a holy warfare, and every believer knows what it is to feel the pressure of the enemy, to be tried and bowed down, and yet to look for victory from above. Scripture reminds us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, and therefore our strength must not be our own. Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and where we look for justification, there also must we look for sanctification and keeping.
Take comfort in this, that deliverance is of the Lord, and it must be accomplished by His hand. As you have asked for prayer before your breakthrough date, we pray that the Lord will make His power known on your behalf. He who brought Israel forth when the lamb was slain, He who has found a ransom for those going down to the pit, is able to make your deliverance effectual. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. When the clock of mercy strikes in heaven, the hour of deliverance comes according to His eternal purpose.
Therefore put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand in the evil day. Hasten to the armoury which Christ has provided, array yourself in the panoply of truth and righteousness, take the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, and continue steadfast in prayer. Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Deliver from the power of the enemy, break every chain, and let this trial end in a song of deliverance, that the mouth may be filled with praise and may declare the works of the Lord. Keep this one by Your free grace, cause Your presence to be a shield round about, and let it be known that You have brought forth Your servant with a mighty hand. Keep your eyes upon Christ, who has already overthrown our worst enemies and wrought a greater salvation, and trust that He who has begun a good work will perfect it.

I have heard your request for prayer as you face this spiritual warfare and long for a breakthrough, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.
You are right to call this what it is, a warfare. This struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the devil and the unseen powers that oppose God. Our Commander in this war is not a man or an angel, but God Himself, and He stands by us ready to help and never defeated. He has not left us without armor. That armor is not made of steel, but of truth and righteousness and faith and love of wisdom.
For this reason Scripture calls us to war a good warfare. There is a bad warfare that serves sin, but the good warfare serves the King. It requires strong arms and sobriety and awakenedness and continual vigilance. We must be in battle array and prepared, with our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, which is a virtuous and faithful life lived before God. When we are at war with the evil one, we are at peace with God, and the gospel itself is good news that the victory has already been won by Christ.
Do not be troubled if the battle feels long or heavy before the date you have in mind. The present life is the time of contest and trial, not yet the time of rest. God does not always promise to lift us immediately out of danger, but He does promise to set us above it, to teach us to despise the power of the enemy and to trust in the immortality and hope He has given us. Sometimes to endure patiently, to bear what is hard with self control and faith, is itself the crown and the truest form of victory.
So let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who has delivered us from the curse and made us sons and daughters through His grace. Look with mercy on this Your servant who is hard pressed in spiritual battle. Clothe him with Your full armor, gird him with truth, cover him with righteousness, shield him with faith, and guide his feet in the peace of Your gospel. Grant him sobriety, vigilance, and a steadfast mind to obey his Commander. Rebuke the evil one and his schemes, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind. Strengthen him to stand firm until You bring the breakthrough in Your perfect wisdom and timing, and let him know that whether the battle is short or long, You are with him and Your victory is sure. Lead him through this trial to greater holiness and trust in You. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.
