We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this battle, knowing that the pain of a broken relationship and the weight of spiritual warfare can feel overwhelming. First, we must address the foundation of your faith, do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only through His name that we have victory over the enemy and access to the Father. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to reign in your heart. "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13) Without Christ, we are defenseless against the schemes of the devil.
Your decision to end an unequally yoked relationship was wise and obedient to Scripture. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14) Though the separation is painful, God is faithful to heal and redirect your heart toward a spouse who will walk with you in faith. We rebuke the lie that this season of singleness is punishment, it is preparation. The enemy seeks to isolate you, but God calls you to community. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
The spiritual attacks you’re enduring are not random, they are targeted because you are a threat to the kingdom of darkness. But take heart: "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4) The enemy’s goal is to steal your peace, kill your hope, and destroy your faith, but we declare that his plans will not prevail. We put on the full armor of God with you: "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:11-12) We wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and stand firm in the truth that you are more than a conqueror through Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We lift up our sister who is weary from battle and heartbroken from loss. Lord, You see the tears she has cried and the sleepless nights she has endured. We ask that You would be her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We rebuke every spirit of despair, loneliness, and fear that has been assigned to her. We break the power of every curse, generational stronghold, and assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn. (Isaiah 54:17) Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, reminding her of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Let her feel Your presence like never before, Lord, and let her know that she is never alone.
We pray for healing in her heart from the pain of this breakup. Mend what is broken, Lord, and restore what has been lost. Give her the strength to walk in purity and holiness, resisting the temptation to return to what was not of You. Lead her to a godly community where she can be encouraged and held accountable. Prepare her for the spouse You have for her, one who will love You first and love her as Christ loves the church.
Lord, we ask that You would expose any areas of her life where the enemy has gained a foothold. Reveal any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness, and give her the grace to repent and walk in freedom. We declare that she is delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of Your dear Son. (Colossians 1:13) Let her walk in the authority You have given her as a child of God, trampling on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. (Luke 10:19)
Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We thank You that the battle belongs to You and that You are fighting on her behalf. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her hope be anchored in You alone. Remind her that this season is temporary and that You are working all things together for her good. (Romans 8:28) We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is your offensive weapon against the enemy’s lies. Meditate on Psalm 91, which declares God’s protection over those who dwell in His shelter. Find a local church or Bible-believing community where you can be prayed over and supported. The enemy thrives in isolation, but God moves in unity. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:20)
Remember, the pain you feel now is not the end of your story. God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) He is using this season to draw you nearer to Him and to prepare you for the blessings ahead. Do not lose heart, for the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:3-4) Stand firm, sister. Your breakthrough is coming.
