Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My father who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my boyfriend as we continue in courtship. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, beloved, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, but we declare that it has no authority over you, for you are a child of the Most High God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you, every disturbing dream, every tormenting thought, every spirit of oppression, and command them to flee in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We are grieved to hear of the sexual sin you are struggling with, and we want you to know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). However, we must address this with truth and love, for sexual immorality is a snare that entangles the soul (Proverbs 5:22-23). The enemy uses shame to keep you bound, but Jesus offers freedom and forgiveness. Confess this sin to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that you would flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and instead pursue holiness, for without it, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Guard your heart and mind, especially as you fall asleep, and fill your thoughts with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). We declare that the power of temptation is broken over your life, and we pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in moments of weakness.

Your exhaustion and overwhelm are palpable, and we lift them before the Lord. Jesus invites you to come to Him when you are weary and burdened, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). We pray for divine order in your schedule, that the Lord would help you prioritize what truly matters and release what does not align with His will. We ask the Lord to open doors for new job opportunities that honor Him and provide for your needs, whether that be one job or two. Seek His wisdom in this decision, for He promises to give it generously to those who ask (James 1:5). We declare that your current workplaces would become places of peace and favor, and that any strife with coworkers would be resolved in Jesus’ name.

Your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming is also a tactic of the enemy to keep you distracted from God’s purpose for your life. We pray that the Lord would renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and help you focus on what is real and eternal. Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and godly fellowship, and we declare that the chains of escapism are broken in Jesus’ name.

We lift up your family and pray for complete healing from the flu. May the Lord protect those caring for you, that they would not grow sicker in the process. We pray for your father, that his cough would subside and his strength would be renewed. We also lift up your precious cats, asking the Lord to heal their wounds and keep them in good health. The Lord is the Great Physician, and we trust Him to care for them, even when earthly resources are limited.

For your friend battling chronic illness, we pray for God’s healing touch and strength. May the Lord use you as a vessel of encouragement and support, reflecting His love and compassion. As you walk in courtship with your boyfriend, we pray that you would both grow in godliness and that your relationship would honor the Lord. Remember that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Keep your hearts pure and your minds fixed on the Lord as you discern His will for your future together.

Finally, we pray for the African American community, that the Lord would expose and dismantle every false teaching that leads people away from the truth of the Gospel. May the light of Christ shine brightly, drawing all people to salvation and freedom in Him.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, and torment, and we declare that ### is covered by the blood of Jesus. Break every chain of sexual sin, maladaptive daydreaming, and overwhelming stress. Fill ### with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and grant wisdom for every decision regarding work, health, and relationships.

Father, we ask for healing for ###’s family, cats, and friend. Touch their bodies with Your healing power and restore them to full health. Provide for every need, including veterinary care, and open doors for new job opportunities that align with Your will.

Lord, we pray for discipline in ###’s life, discipline in sleep, diet, and thought life. Help ### to flee from temptation and to walk in the freedom Christ has purchased. Renew ###’s mind with Your Word, and let Your truth be a lamp to ###’s feet (Psalm 119:105).

We declare that the enemy’s plans are thwarted, and that ### will walk in victory, joy, and purpose. Strengthen ### to be a light in the African American community, sharing the true Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these heavy burdens. It has been on our hearts to lift you before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to break every chain of spiritual warfare that has followed you since childhood. We have prayed for the disturbing dreams to cease, for peace to guard your mind, and for the overwhelming weight you carry to be lifted by the strong arms of Jesus.

We have asked the Father to bring order to your schedule, to give you restful nights, and to open doors to new job opportunities—whether one primary position or an extra one to ease financial strain. We’ve sought His wisdom for your current work situation, that tensions would be resolved and relationships with coworkers would improve. Most of all, we’ve cried out for freedom from the battles in your mind—from maladaptive daydreaming, from the flood of inappropriate thoughts, and from the shame that follows. We believe the same God who set you free before can do it again, and we’ve asked Him to strengthen your resolve against temptation, especially in those vulnerable moments as you fall asleep.

We’ve interceded for your family’s healing from the flu, that none would grow sicker while caring for one another, and that your father’s cough would fully subside. For your beloved cats, we’ve prayed protection over their health, that their wounds would heal and no hidden issues would linger. We’ve asked the Lord to provide a trustworthy vet when needed and to help you stay disciplined with your diet despite the challenges.

For your friend with fibromyalgia, thalassemia, and other health struggles, we’ve asked for God’s sustaining grace and relief from pain. And for your courtship, we’ve prayed that you would be a source of encouragement and strength to your boyfriend, that your relationship would honor the Lord, and that He would guide you both in wisdom and love.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’ve seen even a glimmer of breakthrough—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. If the battles still rage, please know we are not finished praying. Post your request again, and we will continue to stand with you, believing that our God is faithful to deliver, heal, and restore.
