Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My ### who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my ### as we continue in courtship. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and the only name that brings true deliverance. Your struggles are real, and the enemy has been relentless in his attacks, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The spiritual warfare you’ve endured since childhood is not of God, and we take authority over every demonic assignment sent against you in Jesus’ name. The vivid and disturbing dreams that plague you are not from the Lord, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and speaks in dreams that bring peace, not torment. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression, and we command them to flee now in the name of Jesus.

The overwhelming weight you carry, spiritual attacks, demands from others, and the constant chaos, is not your portion. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that the Lord would lift this burden from you and grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Your desire to be left alone is understandable, but we also pray that God would surround you with godly community, people who will uplift you, not drain you. Ask the Lord to order your steps and give you wisdom in managing your time. “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed” (Proverbs 16:3). We pray for divine favor in your job search, whether that means improving your current roles or leading you to new opportunities. May the Lord open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide for your needs abundantly.

The struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and sexual temptation is a heavy one, and we want you to know that shame is not from God. The enemy uses shame to keep you in bondage, but Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). You’ve experienced freedom before, and we declare that freedom over you again. “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). When temptation comes, cry out to Jesus immediately. Fill your mind with Scripture, especially before sleep, and ask the Holy Spirit to guard your thoughts. We pray that God would break every chain of lust and fantasy in your life and replace those thoughts with purity and holiness. Confess this sin to the Lord, for “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will restore you fully.

We also lift up the African American community, praying that the Lord would expose and dismantle every false teaching that has taken root. May the truth of God’s Word be proclaimed boldly, and may hearts be turned back to the Lord. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6), but we declare that knowledge of the truth will prevail. For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. May the Lord strengthen those caring for you and keep them from falling ill. “By His stripes, we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for each of you.

For your beloved cats, we pray for God’s healing touch. The Lord cares for all His creation, and we ask that He would bring comfort and restoration to them. May He provide a way for their care, even if it means leading you to a compassionate vet or a solution you haven’t yet seen. “Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God” (Luke 12:6). If He cares for the sparrows, how much more does He care for your pets?

Your discipline in following your medical diet is commendable, and we pray that the Lord would strengthen your resolve. May He give you creativity in meal planning and the perseverance to honor your body as His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). For your friend battling chronic illness, we pray for God’s sustaining grace. May the Lord ease his pain, regulate his blood pressure, and strengthen his body. We also pray that you would be a source of encouragement and support to your courtship partner, reflecting the love and patience of Christ. “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:4). May your relationship honor God and grow in wisdom and love.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in every area of his/her life. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, and torment that has plagued him/her since childhood. We command every demonic assignment to cease in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask that You break the chains of sexual sin and maladaptive daydreaming. Cleanse his/her mind and heart, and fill him/her with Your Holy Spirit. Give him/her the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to flee from it.

Lord, we pray for rest, true rest in You. Order his/her days and grant him/her peace amidst the chaos. Provide clarity regarding his/her jobs, and open doors of opportunity that align with Your will. Heal his/her family from the flu and protect those caring for them. Bring healing to his/her pets and provide for their needs. Strengthen him/her in following the medical diet and grant relief to his/her friend battling chronic illness.

Father, we ask that You would surround him/her with godly community and wise counsel. May his/her courtship be a reflection of Your love and grace. Set him/her free from every burden, and fill him/her with Your joy and peace. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail, for You are greater than all. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We trust in You alone for deliverance, healing, and restoration. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the profound exhaustion in your words, and it’s no wonder you feel overwhelmed. When spiritual attack, unrelenting dreams, job pressures, family illness, and personal struggles all converge, the sheer volume can leave a person gasping for air. You have been carrying an immense weight, and we don’t want to add to it with a list of things to do. Instead, we simply want to sit with you in this moment and acknowledge how heavy it all is.

You mentioned feeling ashamed about the sexual thoughts, especially because you had known freedom before. That pattern, using a familiar escape when depression deepens, makes so much sense, even as it brings sorrow. Shame grows best in isolation, and one of the enemy's oldest tactics is to make us hide. Just naming it here, bringing it into the light even anonymously, is a quiet act of resistance. You are not starting over from scratch; God who set you free before has not abandoned you now.

With so much pressing in, we want to gently encourage you regarding the health needs. For your own medical diet, your family's flu symptoms, and your cats' wounds and concerning symptoms, a doctor and a veterinarian are gifts of God's common grace. We know you love your pets and that money is tight, but many clinics can point you toward low-cost options or payment plans. Please reach out. Caring for the bodies and creatures entrusted to you is itself a form of faithful stewardship, and you do not have to carry that worry alone.

When your mind races from one trouble to the next, one small, grounding step can help. You might try simply writing down, without judgment, what pulls you into daydreaming or unwanted thoughts as it happens, not to fix it, but to notice it. Naming the trigger without shame can loosen its grip just enough to help you pause before falling into the familiar spiral.

Please hear us: you are not a project to be fixed, but a person to be loved. We are praying with you.

Jesus, our sister is bone-tired and battle-worn. Still the relentless noise around her and within her. Grant her sleep that restores, a schedule that holds, and clarity about her work. Guard her mind as she drifts off; be her refuge in the dark hours. Bring healing to her family and her cats, wisdom for her friend's complex health needs, and steady grace as she walks this courtship. Lift her shame and remind her that she is Yours. Amen.

The arrows fly thick about you, and the Adversary has marked you from youth. Yet be not driven to despondency as though God had withdrawn His hand. Even when we cry out in our haste, like David, “I am cut off,” the Lord in mercy looks upon those hasty words as though we had never thought them. You are learning what it is to endure the archers of temptation, those darts that come in the night season through disordered dreams and in the day through weariness of soul. These are common to man, and no temptation has seized you but such as the saints have faced and overcome. The enemy works upon your frame when strength is low, and he knows well how to increase temptation while you fall asleep. But here is your call: do not go into that temptation. You pray “Lead us not into temptation,” yet you know whither your thoughts wander. Flee the sin of it, and the sorrow will lose its sting. When the unclean thought presents itself, cry out instantly to God, and give no parley. There is a way of escape; find it in prayer, not in yielding.

Your heart is bowed down with many burdens: affliction of the body, cares for employment, the sickness of your household, even the little creatures God has given you. In all these, the remedy is the same, be constant, instant, expectant in prayer. Real prayers are constant prayers. You ask for a better schedule and an end to late nights; bring this hourly before the Lord. The woman who touched Christ’s garment was healed; will He not hear you in these daily frets? Lay before Him the perplexity about your work. Commit your way to Him, and He will order your steps, whether you stay or go. No path is too winding for His guidance.

As for the shameful thoughts that have begun to master you again, loathe yourself truly, but look to the arm that strengthened Joseph. He stood alone, accused falsely, yet his bow abode in strength because the hands of the mighty God of Jacob upheld him. That same power is yours. Your former deliverance from sexual sin is a token that Christ can break the fetters again. But know this: you must not indulge the dreamy imaginations that nurse the flame. The man who prays “Lead us not into temptation” and then goes into it mocks God. When your head touches the pillow, let your meditation be of Christ, and if the enemy whispers his filth, send up an arrow of prayer in that instant. He will give you the mastery.

Your sickness and that of your family, your anxieties for your cats, your friend’s various pains, all these are known to Him who feeds the ravens. Cast them all upon Him. And in this tender season of courtship, seek to be a true helpmeet by drawing your beloved nearer to the throne of grace. A house built on prayer will stand when the floods rise.

Finally, pray with expectation. The God who would not leave His Son without temptation will not leave you without deliverance. The thickest clouds shall break in blessing. Therefore, be not overwhelmed, but lift your head.

Now I commend you to the God of all comfort. Continue instant in prayer, and remember that when you cannot frame a word, the Spirit intercedes. The fight is fierce, but the Captain leads. Only hold fast, and you shall see that the temptation which seems so perilous shall, by grace, drive you closer to the wounded side of Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your many struggles weigh heavily upon you, as though you were in a tempest with no sight of the shore. But the Apostle tells us plainly: no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tried beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. This is not a small comfort. The very fact that the assault is fierce does not mean you are abandoned. It proves the Lord sees you strong enough to wrestle, so long as you cling to Him. When you cry out to be left alone, understand that the world, the flesh, and the devil will not grant that. They press you precisely because you belong to Christ. And yet, He makes a way out: not by removing every thorn but by giving patience and a sudden release, or by the very trial becoming bearable through His grace. So do not despair. These vivid dreams, these sudden onsets of lust, this sorrow that wraps itself around you, they are the messengers of Satan to buffet you, permitted for your humbling and your crown. But see, you are not unexercised in these troubles; you have been delivered before, and He who delivered you is the same yesterday and today. If you have fallen again into sexual sin, do not let shame swallow you utterly. Such shame is right because sin is grievous, but let it drive you back to the Physician, not into hiding. Those thoughts you entertain while drifting to sleep are the bait of the evil one, who knows your weariness. Yet even here, you have a weapon: you can cry out inwardly to Christ in that very moment, even when words fail. And consider this: the Lord often delays granting full relief, not to withhold mercy, but to school you in perseverance. Like a mother who frightens her wandering child so that the child runs back into her arms, God sometimes permits these terrors that you may flee to Him and stay there. So when the enemy increases the temptation, do not reason with it, but run at once to prayer, even if it is only the name of Jesus groaned from the heart.

Your body’s sickness, your family’s flu, your concern for the creatures under your roof, all these are known to Him who feeds the sparrows. Pray and entrust them to His care, and meanwhile do what prudence allows. Your anxieties about work, schedules, and finances are real, but they must not master you. Seek wisdom from God, who gives liberally, and then take steps in confidence that He orders your path. If you end your nights too late, is this not often a snare, because in weariness the guards of the mind relax? Strive by a rule of life to bring order to your hours, for the body is a servant, not a tyrant. And as for the daydreams that consume you, put them off as one shakes off a deep slumber. The Apostle cries, “It is high time to awake out of sleep.” The fantasies that promise relief are the dreams of this present night; when the true Day dawns, they will be shown as nothing. Instead, set your mind on things above, not on the shadows. Let your waking thoughts be filled with the Psalms, with thanksgiving, with remembrance of God’s benefits, so that the empty space where wanderings breed is occupied by what is holy.

You are also called to be a helper to one another, especially to the one with whom you are in courtship. Let this be a season of building one another up in the fear of the Lord, a preparation for a marriage that, if God wills, will be a haven of chastity and mutual service. In this, let your conduct be worthy of the Gospel, so that you are truly an encouragement and not a cause of stumbling. For all these things, the peace of God which surpasses every understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Not a peace that comes from an easy life, but the peace He gave: the peace that remains when the storms rage, because you are reconciled to God and rest in His will. Therefore, I do not dismiss your requests with smooth words; I lift up my heart with you, beseeching the Lord who knows what you need before you ask. May He give you the strength of endurance, a clear escape from every snare, healing of body and soul according to His kindness, and a steadfast hope that does not disgrace. But as you wait for these things, do not demand that they come at once. The time of trial is the time of training. You are not alone. The whole Church militant shares this fight. Stand fast, and you will see the salvation of the Lord.

You have been carrying a very heavy weight, and I want you to know that none of this is hidden from God. The warfare that has hounded you since childhood, the disturbing dreams, the constant sense that you are pulled in every direction while your soul just wants rest, all of it matters to Him. And the shame you feel over the sexual thoughts, the way you find yourself giving in again despite having known freedom before, is something He is already fully aware of. He is not looking at you with disgusted shock. He is looking at you with the eyes of a Father who sent His Son precisely for moments like this.

Your depression is making those thoughts seem like an escape route, but you are beginning to see the deception for what it is. Sin never shows the end from the beginning. It glitters and promises immediate relief, but it hides the fact that its wages are always death, first a deadening of the spirit, a quiet loss of strength, and if left unmortified, a kind of separation that makes you feel as though God has forsaken you. Yet remember this: the only time in all of history that a child of God was truly forsaken was when your sin was placed upon Jesus. He cried out so that you would never have to. His separation purchased your union. The blood of Christ does not merely cover sin; it washes it away, even the most persistent and ugly stains. What a deceptive thing sin is, it whispers that you are too far gone, that you have finally exhausted grace. That is a lie. Grace is always greater, not so that we might sin freely, but so that we might be raised to walk in newness of life.

You are living in the tension that every believer knows. The flesh still has desires, and temptation will keep coming. You are not sinning simply because the thought arrives unbidden; the sin takes root when you entertain it, when you let desire conceive and give birth. But you are not a helpless slave. God has promised that sin shall not have dominion over you. That does not mean the battle goes away, but it does mean you no longer have to surrender. Each time the temptation rises, especially in those drowsy moments when your guard is down, you have a choice. Reckon yourself dead to sin. That is not a feeling; it is a settled decision of faith. You say, “I am crucified with Christ. His death is my death. I am alive to God, and I do not have to be mastered by my flesh any longer.” The very fact that you hate what is happening is evidence that the Spirit is still at work in you.

The law has done its work in your conscience: it has shown you that even the strong desire itself, not just the act, is sin. Paul discovered the same thing and cried out in anguish. That discovery was meant to drive you to Christ, not to despair. You have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. When you fall, do not hide in shame as though the cross were insufficient. Run to Him. Let the cleansing flood wash over you, and then get back up and walk as He walked. The enemy is pressing hard because he sees you turning again toward freedom, and he wants to convince you that you are still in chains. He is a liar.

I will pray for an end to the disturbing dreams and the relentless spiritual assault. But even there, ask the Lord to use the battle to build patience in you, that quality you so need right now. So often our failure comes when we will not wait upon God, when we reach for some immediate relief outside of His timing. He is teaching you to trust His ways even when they are as high above yours as the heavens are above the earth.

Bring your overwhelmed schedule to Him with open hands. Ask for wisdom about the jobs, and do not be afraid to stay or to go as He leads. He cares about your need for provision and for a rhythm that does not crush your soul. I will pray for an end to the late nights and for supernatural help in disciplining your body with that diet. All of this is tied together: your body, your mind, your spirit. They are all being renewed, but renewal is often slow and painful.

I will lift up your entire family in their sickness, and your cats as well, God numbers even the hairs of their heads. Your friend with so many health struggles will be in my prayers, and I ask that the Lord make you a gentle encouragement and a true help to the one you are courting. The community around you, caught up in false teaching, needs the same grace that found you. Keep praying that the truth would set many free.

Above all, rest in this: your worth is not in your performance. Jesus bore your sin, became sin for you who knew no sin, so that you might become the righteousness of God in Him. That standing is secure. Go forward now, not trying to earn what has already been given, but reckoning yourself dead indeed to what would drag you back, and alive to the God who has loved you with an everlasting love.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these heavy burdens. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting you before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of spiritual warfare that has followed you since childhood. We pray for peace to flood your mind, especially in those moments of vivid and disturbing dreams—may the Lord replace them with restful sleep and His comforting presence.

Father, we ask You to lift the weight of overwhelm from our brother/sister. In the midst of constant demands and spiritual attacks, grant them moments of stillness and clarity. Help them establish a healthier schedule, one that honors You and protects their well-being. Guide them in their work—whether You lead them to new opportunities or bring restoration to their current jobs. Give them wisdom to discern Your will and grace to endure until breakthrough comes.

We plead the blood of Jesus over the struggles with ### and sexual temptation. Lord, set them free from shame and restore purity to their mind and heart. Strengthen them to resist the enemy’s lies and to walk in the freedom You’ve already paid for. We declare healing over their ### and ask that You would fill them with hope and purpose.

We also lift up their family, praying for complete healing from illness and protection for those caring for them. Touch their pets with Your healing hand, Lord—bring relief to the ones who are hurting and keep them all healthy. Provide for every need, including wise and compassionate veterinary care. Sustain them in their medical diet and grant discipline to honor You with their body.

For their dear friend battling ###, ###, ###, ###, and ###—we ask for Your healing touch. Strengthen their body, ease their pain, and surround them with Your peace. And for our brother/sister’s courtship, Lord, make them a source of encouragement and support to their partner, reflecting Your love in all they do.

If any of these prayers have been answered, we rejoice with you and give God all the glory! If the battle still rages, we stand with you again today, believing that our God is faithful. Keep pressing into Him—He sees you, He loves you, and He is working on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you, strengthen you, and fill you with His peace as you continue to seek Him. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
