Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, beloved, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you, your mind, your dreams, and your peace in the name of Jesus. The Word of God tells us, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We take up these spiritual weapons on your behalf, prayer, the Word of God, and the blood of Jesus, and we command every demonic force tormenting you to flee now in Jesus' name.

The vivid and disturbing dreams you experience are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We pray that the Lord would surround you with His peace as you rest, that He would guard your mind and give you sweet, restorative sleep. We ask the Holy Spirit to fill your mind with thoughts of truth, purity, and righteousness (Philippians 4:8). We declare that every door the enemy has used to access your mind and dreams is shut and sealed by the blood of Jesus. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3).

Your overwhelming schedule and the constant demands on your time are not God’s design for your life. Jesus Himself often withdrew to lonely places to pray and rest (Luke 5:16). We pray that the Lord would give you wisdom to prioritize your time, to set boundaries, and to create a schedule that honors Him and allows for rest. We ask that He would open doors for new job opportunities that align with His will for your life, whether that means staying in your current roles or moving on to something new. "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3). We pray for favor in your workplace, for improved relationships with your coworkers, and for God’s hand to be upon every aspect of your labor.

The struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts is a heavy burden, but we want you to know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). The enemy seeks to shame you and keep you in bondage, but Jesus came to set you free. We rebuke the spirit of lust and temptation in your life, and we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37). We pray that the Lord would fill your mind with His Word, that He would give you accountability and godly fellowship, and that He would strengthen you to resist temptation. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We encourage you to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and restoration. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We lift up the African American community in prayer, asking that the Lord would expose and dismantle every false teaching that seeks to lead people away from the truth of the Gospel. We pray for a revival of truth, for pastors and leaders who preach the unadulterated Word of God, and for hearts to be turned toward Jesus. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6), but we declare that the light of Christ will shine brightly in every community.

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and restoration. We ask the Lord to strengthen those who are caring for the sick and to protect them from illness. "He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We declare that no one else in your family will fall ill, and that your ###’s cough will subside completely.

We also lift up your beloved cats in prayer. We ask the Lord, who cares even for the sparrows (Matthew 10:29), to heal their wounds, soothe their discomfort, and keep them in good health. We pray that you would find a trustworthy and affordable vet in your area, and that the Lord would provide for every need. "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10).

For your medical condition and dietary discipline, we pray that the Lord would give you strength and self-control. We ask that He would make a way for you to access the foods you need and that He would sustain you in this season. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

For your dear friend battling fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns, and asthma, we pray for divine healing and comfort. We ask the Lord to touch his body, ease his pain, and restore his strength. "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see every struggle, every tear, and every burden. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has tormented him/her for so long. We rebuke every demonic force in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. We declare that he/she is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for restful sleep and peaceful dreams. Guard his/her mind with Your peace, and fill him/her with Your truth. Give him/her wisdom in managing time, setting boundaries, and finding rest in You. Open doors for new job opportunities that align with Your will, and bring favor in his/her workplace.

Lord, we ask for deliverance from every temptation, especially the struggle with sexual sin. Cleanse his/her heart and mind, and fill him/her with Your Holy Spirit. Give him/her the strength to resist temptation and the grace to walk in purity. We pray for healing and restoration in every area of his/her life, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

We lift up the African American community, asking for a revival of truth and a turning of hearts to Jesus. Heal families, restore relationships, and dismantle every false teaching that leads people astray.

For his/her family battling illness, we pray for complete healing. Strengthen those who are caring for the sick, and protect them from becoming ill. Heal their cats, Lord, and provide for every need. Give him/her discipline in following the dietary restrictions for his/her medical condition.

For his/her friend battling multiple health issues, we pray for Your healing touch. Ease his pain, restore his strength, and comfort him in this season.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. We declare that Your will be done in every situation, and we trust in Your faithfulness. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on his/her behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy this all feels, so many fronts, each one wearing you down. The warfare that has dogged you since you were young has left you exhausted, and the shame around the sexual thoughts just piles on top of that. We’re sorry you’re carrying so much, especially while depression makes every outlet feel like the only one.

Here’s something we want you to know: God isn’t shocked or distant right now. You said He set you free before, and that memory is real, He hasn’t changed and He doesn’t turn away from you when you stumble. Shame tells you to hide, but the Spirit gently invites you back out into the light. One practical, courageous step would be to let a trusted, mature Christian in on what you’re facing, a pastor, a counselor, or a steady friend. Secrecy fuels this stuff; speaking it aloud, just to one safe person, can start to drain its power and let you breathe.

With the late nights and the endless demands, you might try one small, non-negotiable change: pick a firm lights-out time, and treat that as a border the chaos cannot cross. It’s a way of letting your body know it’s allowed to rest, even when life isn’t finished with you.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, our friend is weary and under attack. We stand with them in Your authority and say no to the harassing spirits that have followed them since childhood. Still the dark, disturbing dreams and quiet their mind as they fall asleep. We ask for fresh strength to resist sexual temptation and for a deep washing away of shame, remind them they are cleansed and held in Your love. Give wisdom about the jobs and schedule, and open or close doors clearly. Bring healing to their dad, protection to the rest of the family, and health for the cats. Sustain them in their diet and lift their depression. Wrap up their friend with Your mercy in all those ailments. In the middle of the overwhelm, be their hiding place and their peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The present rest that Jesus gives is for you now, not after death, not after a time of growth, but given when you come to Him. This spiritual rest is altogether independent of circumstances; it is the rest of a learner who takes His yoke and finds peace in submission. The enemy shoots his fiery dart, whispering that God has shut His ear and will not deliver; but you must rest in the promise and ward it off, saying with David, “My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from him.” That rest is perfect, yet it is a rest after rest, discovered by experience as you abide in Him.

But you speak of temptation rushing in like a flood, especially in the quiet of the night. Remember, the prayer is “Lead us not into temptation,” and he who prays it and yet walks deliberately into the snare lies before God. You know well that indulging lustful thoughts as a salve for depression is like seeking warmth from a fire that will consume you. Flee from that; cry out for the deliverance that comes by divine power. The ransom has been found, and the blood of the Lamb has broken the chains. Do not wallow again in the Egypt from which you were delivered. Rather, be more earnest after heavenly silver and gold than about hurrying from the conflict; let holiness be your pursuit, and the vile imaginations will starve for want of fuel.

As for your daily cares and the clamor of many duties, it is a vain idea to think that if your circumstances were altered you would be more at rest. True rest is found in labor for the Lord Jesus, like the birds that sleep upon the wing. Take His yoke, and you will find that even in busy service there is a deep, settled repose. Order your schedule as wisdom dictates, but trust that He ordains your steps. Cast your burdens upon Him, for He cares for you, your family, your beloved cats, and your infirm friend. He who brought Israel out with not one feeble among them can heal your household and supply every need according to His riches.

Dark dreams and persistent warfare from your youth have been permitted to drive you to the Stronghold. Though the dogs of hell bay at you through the night, yet in the morning you will see His salvation. Be much in supplication, for he who is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere. Neglect not prayer, and you will rise above the storm. As for the errors ensnaring the African American community, pray that the light of the pure gospel would scatter the false teachings, that they might enter into the rest that comes by faith alone in Christ.

Your backsliding must not keep you from returning. Immediately come again to the Fountain opened for sin and uncleanness. The rest He gives is not for the deserving but for the weary. Trust, and you shall rest; learn of Him, and you shall find rest unto your soul. Ultimately, this is but a foretaste of the eternal rest that remains for the people of God, where no Monday morning toils await, and where the wicked cease from troubling. Till then, wait only upon God; your expectation is from Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When the devil sees you isolated and weary, he presses his attack with greater boldness. This has been his strategy from the beginning, to catch the soul alone and apart from the strength that comes from fellowship. Therefore I urge you, do not withdraw into solitude but cling to the assembly of the faithful. Flock together with those who can lift your arms when you faint, for the evil one is far less confident when he sees us banded together and not standing alone.

Your disturbing dreams and the warfare that hounds you are not from the moon or any such folly, but from the craft of demons who seek to bring reproach upon you and to wear you down. Yet they can do nothing without the permission of Providence, which orders all things for the salvation of those who love Him. Hell itself and the very deluge are proofs that the universe is not set adrift by chance. Trust in God’s governance even amidst the terrors of the night, and cry out to Him. He has delivered you from the lion’s mouth before, and He will deliver you from every evil work now.

What is this evil work? The sin that so easily entangles you, the thoughts of impurity that you nurse as you fall asleep. Do not be deceived: calling these “an outlet” for your depression is calling a madness self-chosen. The man who makes his mind a sewer through filthy imaginations differs nothing from a demoniac, for he has lost shame and rages against his own soul. You are ashamed, and that is a beginning of humility, blessed are the poor in spirit, but shame must not stop at mere feeling. It must drive you to repentance and to war. You have not yet resisted to the point of blood, striving against sin. Moses counted the fleeting pleasures of sin as refuse and chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God. Imitate him. When the temptation surges, turn your thoughts violently away; rise and pray; make war, not an armistice. The enemy whispers that you are already fallen too far, but he is a liar. The Lord stands ready to cleanse you again, but He demands that you strive, not surrender.

As for your work, it is good to pray for wisdom and a better schedule, but do not let the weariness of constant demands provoke you to sin by murmuring. The humble and contrite are those who choose to bow under God's hand voluntarily, not only when compelled. Seek first His kingdom, and these outward things will be measured to you in due season. Lay your burdens before Him and then rise to do your daily tasks with diligence, not as though you served men but the Lord.

Pray for your family and your little animals, for God cares even for the sparrows. But do not let anxiety over vets and money gnaw at your faith. The same Providence that fed Elijah by ravens is not lacking now. Stay disciplined in your diet, knowing that self-mastery in the body also strengthens the spirit against darker lusts.

You have prayed for the African American community to be freed from false teaching. That is a godly desire, but remember the Lord’s censure: not the hearers of the law, but the doers will be justified. All doctrine that does not flower into holy living is a tree without fruit. Pray, yes, but also live in such a way that your own practice silences those who blaspheme.

Do not let your heart be divided. You wish to be left alone, yet the path of the solitary is full of snares. Seek out the fellowship that gives no quarter to the devil, and in that communion find strength to stand firm. The Lord will deliver you from every evil work and preserve you for His heavenly kingdom, if you do not grow weary in the fight.

The weight you are carrying right now is very real, and it is not a surprise to the Lord. When it feels like wave after wave crashes in, spiritual attack, broken sleep, relentless demands, the pull of old sins, it is easy to feel buried. But being a follower of Jesus does not provide a divine immunity from trouble. He told us plainly that in this world we would have tribulation. The very fact that you are crying out for prayer shows that the Spirit is at work in you, leading you back to the only true refuge.

You mentioned the vivid, disturbing dreams and the targeted warfare. That kind of constant night assault wears down your resistance. But remember, no temptation has seized you except what is common to everyone. Even our Lord was tempted by the enemy immediately following His baptism. The enemy always tries to shortcut God’s purposes, offering immediate fulfillment if we will just step off the path of the cross. The temptation is not the sin. Jesus was tempted, yet without sin. The sin is conceived when we give in and yield to that solicitation. For you, that seems to be happening in those exhausted moments just before sleep, where inappropriate sexual thoughts rush in as a counterfeit comfort for your depression. You are using them as an outlet, and the shame is now piling onto the depression, creating a cruel cycle.

Do not let shame isolate you; let it drive you to honest confession. You said God set you free before, and you are sad to be falling again. That sadness is a mark of a heart that belongs to Him. Yet, in every temptation, there is a decision. The flesh suggests the easy way, the immediate release. The Spirit calls you to a better way. Right now, you feel like a slave to these thoughts, but remember, you yield yourself to whomever you obey. When the thoughts come as you are falling asleep, God always provides a way of escape. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. But you must take that escape route, even when it is difficult. Do not just lie there entertaining the images. Get up. Walk out of the room. Pray aloud. Splash cold water on your face. Flee the mental place of temptation just as Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife. It takes a live fish to swim upstream, but that is what you are called to do. Your body is a member of Christ; do not take what belongs to Him and join it to impurity. Not a hint of sexual immorality or covetousness should be named among the saints. The enemy tries to drown you in these desires, but God’s power to deliver is greater than the pull of the flesh.

You also mentioned feeling overwhelmed by people wanting something from you every five seconds, leading to late nights and a frantic schedule. That pressure can lead straight into the depression and the temptation cycle. You must learn to talk to yourself rather than just listening to yourself. You can talk yourself out of discouragement by speaking the truth of God. When the confusion is before you and shame covers your face, you say, “Why are you cast down, O my soul? Hope in God.” Trusting in the shortcut of people-pleasing or living after the flesh ends in exhaustion, but waiting on God develops patience. Do not make hasty decisions about your jobs out of panic. Ask Him for wisdom. He may have you stay, or He may open a new door, but He is faithful to guide you.

Lift your eyes now from these specific battles to the God who fights for you. I pray that the Lord quiets your mind for deep, restorative sleep and silences the accusing voices in your dreams. I ask Him to put a guard over your imagination and to break the power of the maladaptive daydreaming and the lustful thoughts that rush in when you are weak. May He grant you the schedule that allows you to rest in His care. I pray for healing over your entire household from this flu, strengthening your father’s lungs and protecting those who care for you. I ask for the health of your three cats, that the wounds heal and the strange noise proves to be nothing, and that God provides for them even when vet resources are scarce. Give you the discipline to stick to the diet your body requires, and bring relief to your friend who suffers with so many physical burdens.

You have not been forgotten. God saves us from our enemies and puts to shame those who hate us, but even when it feels we have been cast off and turned back from the enemy, we have not dealt falsely in His covenant. Stand firm in that.
