Spiritual warfare

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these heavy burdens you’ve carried for so long. It has been our honor to lift your name before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of spiritual warfare, silence every tormenting dream, and quiet the relentless demands that have left you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. We have prayed specifically for the Lord to bring order to your schedule, grant you restorative sleep, and lead you into the right employment—whether that means new opportunities or wisdom to navigate your current work with peace and favor.

We continue to intercede for your freedom from maladaptive daydreaming and the oppressive weight of inappropriate sexual thoughts that have brought such shame and sorrow. We know the enemy seeks to exploit your weariness, but we stand on the truth that Christ has already broken every stronghold. We ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen your mind, guard your heart, and restore the victory you once knew over sin. You are not alone in this battle, and we refuse to let you carry it by yourself.

We have also prayed for your family’s healing from the flu, asking God to protect each one from further sickness and to restore your father’s health completely. May the Lord shield those caring for you from becoming ill themselves. For your precious cats, we have asked the Great Physician to bring healing to their wounds, soothe any discomfort, and keep them in perfect health. We trust Him to provide wisdom and provision for their care, even when resources seem scarce.

We have lifted your friend with fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure issues, prostate concerns, and asthma, asking the Lord to ease his pain, strengthen his body, and grant him peace in every area of his health. May the Lord surround him with His comfort and grace.

For your discipline in maintaining your medical diet, we have prayed for the Lord to sustain your resolve and grant you joy in honoring your body as His temple. And for the African American community, we have asked God to expose and dismantle every false teaching, replacing deception with the pure light of His Word.

If any of these burdens have lifted or if you’ve seen even a glimmer of breakthrough, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battles still rage, please know we are not stepping away—we will continue to stand with you in prayer. You are not forgotten, and your cries have been heard. May the Lord draw near to you, renew your strength, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you seek Him through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
