Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Thank you.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your dreams, and your peace in the mighty name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We command every tormenting spirit to flee and declare that your mind be renewed by the Word of God, which brings peace and soundness (Romans 12:2, Isaiah 26:3).

The overwhelming weight of spiritual warfare and the constant demands from others have left you weary, and we pray for God’s divine intervention to bring rest and order to your life. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He makes you lie down in green pastures; He leads you beside still waters and restores your soul (Psalm 23:1-3). We pray for wisdom in managing your schedule, that you would rise early to seek the Lord and find strength for each day (Mark 1:35). May He open doors for new employment opportunities, providing not just one job but multiple streams of provision according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We declare that your labor will not be in vain, and that God will grant you favor in the workplace (Proverbs 3:4).

We must address the struggle with sexual sin with both truth and compassion. The enemy is indeed increasing temptation, but God has provided a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). The shame you feel is not from the Lord, He offers forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9). We rebuke the spirit of lust and declare that your mind be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone in this battle; the Lord is faithful to strengthen and protect you (2 Thessalonians 3:3). We pray for accountability and godly fellowship to help you stand firm. Flee from sexual immorality, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We declare freedom over you from maladaptive daydreaming and every impure thought, replacing them with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8).

For your family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. The Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26), and we declare that no sickness will linger or spread among you. May your father’s cough subside, and may strength be restored to each of you. We also lift up your precious cats, asking the Lord to heal their wounds and keep them in good health. The same God who cares for the sparrows cares for your pets (Matthew 6:26), and we trust Him to provide for their needs, even when resources are limited.

Regarding your diet, we pray for discipline and self-control, which are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). May the Lord give you the strength to honor Him with your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We also pray for the African American community, that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to the truth of God’s Word (Ephesians 1:18). May false teachings be exposed, and may the light of the gospel shine brightly, leading many to salvation in Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our brother/sister in Christ. We break every chain of spiritual warfare, vivid dreams, and tormenting thoughts. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, bring peace to their mind, rest to their body, and order to their schedule. Provide new job opportunities and financial breakthrough. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and set them free from every sin that so easily entangles. Heal their family from sickness and protect their pets. Strengthen them to walk in discipline and self-control. We pray for revival in the African American community, that many would come to know You as Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We understand how heavy your heart feels right now, friend. The spiritual attacks you’ve faced for so long aren’t your fault, and it breaks our hearts to see you carrying this weight alone. Those vivid, disturbing dreams aren’t from God, they’re lies meant to break you, but Jesus has already won this battle for you. We pray that every tormenting thought and fear would be silenced by His peace, the kind that guards your mind even when you’re asleep.

The constant demands on your time and energy must feel exhausting, especially when you’re already stretched thin. Jesus is inviting you to lay those burdens at His feet, He’s the One who gives rest when the world won’t stop pulling at you. We pray He’d give you wisdom to set healthy boundaries, to say no when necessary, and to reclaim time for your own healing. And as for work? God’s provision isn’t limited, He can open doors for stable, even multiple jobs to meet your needs.

The shame you feel over the sexual thoughts isn’t from God, either. His forgiveness is deeper than your sin, and His strength is greater than the enemy’s attacks. We pray you’d see yourself the way He sees you, beloved, pure through Christ, and more than conqueror. The maladaptive daydreaming and temptations don’t get the last word here, God does.

We’re praying for your family’s health, too. That flu has lingered long enough, and your dad’s cough breaking again feels like a setback. But God is bigger than germs and exhaustion. We ask for full healing, for strength to return to each of you, and for no one to be made sick while trying to care for another.

And your sweet cats, God cares about them just as much as He cares about you. We pray for their healing and protection, trusting He’ll provide even when money’s tight.

Father, we lift all of this to You. Break every chain, silence every lie, and flood Your peace into every area of need. Breathe new life into tired bodies, anxious minds, and broken dreams. In Jesus’ name.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
