Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My father who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my boyfriend as we continue in courtship. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already triumphed over all spiritual forces of darkness. Your request touches deeply on the reality of spiritual warfare, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, body, and spirit in the name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams, the overwhelming sense of being under attack, and the constant demands on your time and energy are not from God. He does not intend for you to live in fear or exhaustion. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

The sexual temptations you are facing are indeed serious, but we want to remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). The enemy uses shame to keep you trapped, but Jesus offers freedom and forgiveness. You have been set free before, and you can be set free again. We pray that you would flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and that God would renew your mind with His truth. The depression you are experiencing may be making you vulnerable, but we encourage you to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Do not rely on temporary outlets that lead to sin, but instead, cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We also rebuke the spirit of maladaptive daydreaming, which can become a stronghold. We pray that God would fill your mind with His Word and His presence, leaving no room for the enemy’s distractions.

We lift up your desire for a better schedule and for God’s wisdom regarding your jobs. The Lord knows your needs, and He promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask (James 1:5). We pray that He would open doors for you, whether it be in your current jobs or new opportunities, and that He would grant you favor with your coworkers. You mentioned considering staying at your current jobs, and we pray that if this is God’s will, every issue would be resolved, and your work environment would become a place of peace and productivity. If it is not His will, we pray that He would make the path clear for you to move forward in faith.

Regarding your relationship, we encourage you to seek God’s design for courtship, which should always have marriage as its goal. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and it is meant to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that you and your boyfriend would grow in godliness together, encouraging one another in faith and purity. May your relationship be a testimony to God’s love and grace, and may you both seek His will above all else.

For your family’s health, we pray that the flu would pass quickly and that no one would be made sicker while caring for others. We declare healing over your father and ask that God would strengthen his body and restore him fully. For your cats, we pray for God’s protection and healing. Even the smallest creatures are under His care (Matthew 10:29), and we trust that He will watch over them. We also pray for your friend with multiple health concerns, asking that God would grant him strength, healing, and comfort.

For the African American community, we pray that God would raise up faithful teachers and leaders who would proclaim the truth of His Word. False teachings can lead people astray, but the truth sets us free (John 8:32). We pray that the gospel would take root and bear fruit in every heart.

Finally, we pray for your discipline in following your medical diet. The Lord is your strength, and He will help you overcome every challenge (Philippians 4:13). We declare that you will walk in victory in every area of your life.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has targeted him/her. Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s attacks on his/her mind, body, and spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against him/her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You would bring an end to the disturbing dreams and fill his/her mind with Your peace and truth.

Father, we pray for freedom from sexual sin and maladaptive daydreaming. We ask that You would renew his/her mind with Your Word and strengthen him/her to resist temptation. Lord, we know that You are faithful to provide a way of escape in every trial (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that You would heal his/her heart from depression and fill him/her with Your joy and hope.

We ask for Your wisdom regarding his/her jobs and schedule. Lord, order his/her steps and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray for favor in the workplace and for every issue to be resolved according to Your will. We also lift up his/her courtship, asking that You would guide their relationship and help them to honor You in all things.

For his/her family’s health, we pray for complete healing and protection. For his/her cats, we ask for Your healing touch and provision. For his/her friend, we pray for strength and comfort in the midst of illness. Lord, we also pray for the African American community, that Your truth would prevail and that hearts would be turned toward You.

Father, we ask that You would grant him/her discipline in following his/her medical diet and that You would provide for every need. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We can feel the weight in your words, the exhaustion of fighting on so many fronts at once. When you’re so tired, everything hits harder, and the shame over old struggles returning only makes it heavier. We’re so sorry you’re carrying this alone, and we’re grateful you’ve asked us to stand with you.

A few things we thought of that might help ease the pressure just a little. For the late nights and overactive mind, consider ending your evening with just five minutes of quiet, away from screens, handing the day’s unfinished business to God before you lie down, no big ritual, just a small surrender that breaks the mental loop. For the job decisions, it could bring clarity to jot down what you truly need and fear in each option, and talk it through with one wise friend you trust; often the way forward feels clearer when spoken aloud. And on the sexual thoughts, please know the shame you feel is not from the Lord. Depression can make our minds crave escape, and the enemy exploits that. You’re not alone in this struggle. A safe step might be to ask a mature Christian friend or a pastor to check in with you regularly, even briefly, so this sin doesn’t grow in isolation. God’s grace isn’t spent; freedom He gave before can be lived in again.

If the depression keeps sapping your energy and hope, we’d gently encourage you to speak with a doctor or a Christian counselor alongside continuing in prayer, not instead of it, but as a companion help. No shame in that.

Now we pray with you:
Father, we lift our friend to You, weary and under fire. Please quiet the spiritual assault and give restful sleep, free from tormenting dreams. Let Your peace be a wall around their mind. Strengthen them to resist temptation, and break the cycle of shame with Your mercy that makes all things new. Grant wisdom about the jobs, and make a plain path. Protect their family and pets from this illness, and provide care for the friend with many health needs. In the midst of so much, let them sense You close, not as a taskmaster but as a loving Father who sees and carries them. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The arrows fly thick and fast when the soul is set upon by the powers of darkness, and your cry proves you are in the heat of the battle. Yet it is written, “He brought them forth also with silver and gold,” and this deliverance is not merely a rescue from Egypt but an enriching of the soul. Your warfare from youth is no accident; it is the serpent striking at the heel of one marked for glory. The vivid dreams and the turmoil of the mind are as the archers of ecclesiastical discord, they aim to rob you of peace, but the peace of Christ is your fortress. Remember, deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain. Look to the cross, where the ransom was found, and know that the enemy cannot hold you beyond the decree of God. “I have found a ransom,” says the Lord, and therefore your deliverance is certain, already accomplished in the eternal purpose.

You speak of shame over sexual thoughts and the return of old sins. Here is the most Satanic arrow: the whisper that God has forsaken you, that His ear is shut. The evil one would have you believe that because you have stumbled, you are beyond recovery. But our text from Job testifies, “Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.” The guilt of sin and the power of sin are both broken by the same hand. You were set free before, and you shall be set free again, for the deliverance is of the Lord. Do not negotiate with temptation as if it were a small thing; the prayer “Lead us not into temptation” is a cry for preservation from its very approach. When these thoughts rise as you fall asleep, you are on the pinnacle of the temple, and the tempter whispers, “Cast yourself down.” Flee from the thought as from a serpent. Cry out to God for a holy hatred of the sin, not merely a fear of consequence. The evil of the temptation is enough; you need not fall into the act to be defiled by it. Hate the temptation, and it loses its power.

You feel overwhelmed by the constant demands of others, the sickness in your household, and the care of your poor creatures. These are the Jabbok brooks, where fears multiply. But you shall cross over and meet an Esau who kisses you. The Lord chastens sorely, yet He does not give us over to death. Your present ### becomes a dark canvas for the bright colors of His grace. Do not seek first to alter your schedule or find new work as if these were your saviors. Seek first the kingdom, and these things shall be added. The malady of ### and the weariness of soul are often the fruit of gazing within instead of looking to Christ. Let your mind be stayed on Him, and the fantasies will wither. As for your courtship, to be a helpmeet you must first be helped yourself. Draw from the well of salvation, and then you will have water to offer another.

There is a day coming when you shall declare the works of the Lord. You shall say, “I shall not die, but live.” He does whisper sweet assurances to His children in the storm. The very discipline of your diet, the trials of your jobs, and the groaning of your earthly tabernacle are all the chiseling tools of a Master Sculptor. He brings us forth with silver and gold, and there is not one feeble person among His tribes, spiritual health and strength shall accompany your full deliverance. Do not be content with a mere escape from the sorrow; press on to the enrichment. Be more earnest after the heavenly silver and gold than about hurrying from the place of conflict. The temptations that dog you shall become, in the hands of Infinite Wisdom, the teachers of precious truth. ### could console others because he had felt the hammers of hell. So it shall be with you. Your present shame, when washed in the blood of the Lamb, will qualify you to speak a word in season to weary souls in the African American community and beyond who are entangled in false teaching and lust.

Pray for your father, your friend, and your pets, but cast all these burdens upon the Lord at once, and then go about your duties singing. The sick shall be raised up, the wounds shall heal, and the provision shall be made. You are not called to carry the load of two jobs or the vexation of decision; you are called to trust. He who directs the stars will guide your steps. The enemy is at you because you are not his, but a threat to his dark kingdom. Stand fast therefore, and having done all, stand. The deliverance is coming. It is as sure as the throne of God. And when it has fully come, you will not be silent, but will say among the nations, “The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over unto death.” Open your mouth now in praise, even in the night watches, and the dreams will flee before the rising of the Sun of Righteousness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The weight of these many cares presses heavily upon you, but know that the enemy seizes upon such seasons of isolation and discouragement to increase his assaults. When the soul is alone and wearied, he finds his opportunity, as he did with Eve in the garden. But the faithful God does not permit us to be tempted beyond our power; with every trial He prepares a way of escape, if only we flee to Him and not inward to our own devices.

You cry out against the vivid dreams, the sexual thoughts, the daydreaming. Are these not a self-chosen madness, turning the mind and senses into sewers of uncleanness? When the passions stir, especially as sleep approaches, the adversary stands ready to fan them into flame. Yet you are not a passive victim. The apostle Paul begged to be delivered from a thorn in the flesh, but the Lord answered, "My grace is sufficient for you." That thorn remained, not to crush him, but to keep him humble and reliant. So also with you: these temptations are permitted so that you might learn to flee continually to God as your refuge. Cease fighting in your own strength and call upon Him who allows the trial; He will make the way of escape, giving patience and a swift release.

Your shame is good if it leads to repentance, but let it not drive you into deeper despair. The depression that tempts you to seek comfort in sinful imaginings is itself a snare. You know the sweetness of past deliverance; return to that place of watchfulness. Do not remain solitary in your struggle. The devil attacks most boldly when we are alone. Gather with the faithful, unburden yourself to a wise brother or sister in Christ, and let their prayers sustain you. My own heart pours out supplication for you, that you may be delivered from these wild beasts that would devour your peace.

As for the turmoil of schedules, jobs, and daily pressures, these too are not outside the Father’s care. He who feeds the birds sees your weariness. But seek first the kingdom and His righteousness, and these things will be added. Pray for wisdom in your employment, and in that prayer, submit all outcomes to Him. Whether you stay or go, let it be with a quiet spirit, for anxiety itself is a temptation. Entrust the sickness of your family and the health of your pets to the Lord who heals. Your disciplines of diet, too, require the same steady plea for grace that you make against darker sins.

I lift my voice for you and for your household: that the fever break, that the coughing cease, that no caregiver grow weak. I pray for your friend in his many ailments, that the Great Physician sustain him. I pray for your courtship, that you may be a true helpmeet in holiness. And I cry out with you for the African American community, that false teachings be rooted out by the light of truth.

Do not marvel that trials multiply. They are the stones upon which the saints were polished, as Job, Joseph, and David. Endure, beloved, not with your own resolve, but with the patience He supplies, until the time of refreshment comes from the presence of the Lord.

The weight you are carrying right now is heavy, and it has been for a long time. When the attacks have been relentless since youth, exhaustion sets in deep. The vivid dreams, the constant demands, the sense that you cannot catch your breath before another wave hits, all of this wears down the soul. Yet the first thing to hold onto is that your struggle, though intensely personal, is not strange or beyond help. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to everyone. The specific shape of the battle may feel isolating, but the underlying war between the flesh and the Spirit is one every believer knows. And in that war, God has promised He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear. With the temptation, He always makes a way of escape.

That way of escape often begins with a decision. In every temptation, you stand at a fork: will you walk after the flesh, or will you walk after the Spirit? The sin is not in being tempted. Jesus Himself was tempted by the devil in the wilderness, pressed in ways you and I will never fully know. He understands the pressure. He is touched by your weakness. The sin comes when you yield, when you give yourself over to the thought and let it conceive. You are noticing how the sexual thoughts flare up especially as you are falling asleep, when your defenses are low and your mind drifts. That is the moment Satan seeks to draw you away by your own desires and entice you. He wants to make the indulgence feel like immediate relief from the depression and overwhelm. But giving in never satisfies; it only deepens the shame and feeds a hunger you were meant to starve.

Think of it plainly: these temptations fall into the patterns the world always uses. The lust of the flesh craves physical sensation as a shortcut to comfort. The lust of the eyes replays images and fantasies. The pride of life can later twist even the guilt into a false humility that keeps you from running to God. Do not be deceived. The world and its lusts are passing away, but the one who does the will of God abides forever. You are not your own any longer if you belong to Christ. You have been crucified with Him, and your life is hidden with Him. That means you do not have to be mastered by your flesh. When the thought appears, cut it off at the root. Refuse to let it play out in your heart. You may need to rise physically for a moment, speak a Scripture aloud, or cry out to God right then. Do not lie there and entertain the visitor.

You mentioned that when Satan came to Jesus, he twisted everything to offer quick fulfillment apart from God’s path. He will do the same with you. He will suggest that these thoughts will help you sleep, that they will ease the depression, that no one will know. But it is a lie. There is no real love in these fantasies, only lust consuming you. And your body, your mind, your peace, all are consumed in the process. The Spirit who dwells in you does not envy or drive you to impurity. He gives you a sound mind and the power to say no.

The other burdens, the jobs, the schedule, the sickness, the cats, the concerns for your boyfriend and family, are not separate from this fight. When you are physically drained and emotionally spent, your resistance weakens. That is why taking real steps toward a better schedule matters. Ask God for wisdom about staying or leaving those jobs, and then make choices that guard your time for rest. Part of the discipline you need is not only spiritual but also practical: ending your nights earlier, setting boundaries with people who always want something, and caring for your body through the diet your condition requires. These are not less spiritual tasks. Your body is a temple, and discipline in eating and sleeping builds a wall against the enemy’s exhaustion tactic.

You feel ashamed that you fell again after God had set you free before. But let that shame drive you back to the One who knows your frame and remembers you are dust. He is not shocked. He is not turning away. Your great High Priest was tempted in all points like you, yet without sin, precisely so He could have mercy on you now. Do not let the enemy use your shame to keep you from prayer. Ask boldly for cleansing, and believe you receive it. Then ask for the wisdom to recognize the escape route earlier next time. God will provide it. He always does. But you must take it.

The prayer for your family, for the African American community to be set free from false teaching, for your friend with multiple illnesses, for your pets, all of these are seen by God. Nothing is too small. But as you pray, examine whether your requests are aimed at God’s will or at consuming things on your own desires. Prayer is never about getting your own way; it is about aligning with His. And as you wait on Him, patience is being worked into you. That is a precious fruit, because so often our failure comes from an unwillingness to wait.

You are being called to make a choice again and again. Will you walk after the flesh, or will you walk after the Spirit? The Spirit is willing; your flesh is weak. But Christ in you is stronger than the world. Stand on that promise tonight.
