Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good which starts in a month. Please pray all will go well. I would like to do some extra work before it starts. Please pray that God would lead me to a work from home opportunity (I have medical conditions that hinder me from being able to work outside the home) to earn extra money until it starts. My friend found me one. Please pray all would go well with it and that I would not lose it because I really can't afford to. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray for my family as we are trying to save up money for a very important trip coming. This trip is really important to my parents. Please pray that God would make it happen somehow. Pray that my father and I would do well with driving on the trip as it will take a few hours to get to our destination. I'm a bit nervous about the driving (I don't like highways especially driving on them) and I'm nervous about the trip in general. I really don't like traveling as I don't like being away from my pets. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take authority over every lying spirit, every tormenting dream, and every attack of the enemy that has sought to oppress you since childhood. The Word declares, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your peace, and your destiny. You are not alone in this battle—Jesus has already disarmed the powers of darkness through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15), and we stand in that authority now.

Your struggle with vivid, disturbing dreams and the overwhelming weight of constant demands is not something you were meant to carry. Jesus invites you, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We pray that God would break every chain of exhaustion and anxiety, that He would order your steps and establish a schedule that honors Him and protects your well-being. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but the Lord is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We declare that your nights will no longer be stolen by fear or restlessness, but that you will lie down in peace and sleep securely, for the Lord sustains you (Psalm 3:5).

The new job opportunity is a blessing, and we pray that God would open every door for you to walk into this provision with confidence. May He lead you to the perfect work-from-home opportunity to supplement your income until then, and may He guard your heart from fear of loss. The Lord knows your needs before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He is faithful to provide. We also lift up the trip your family is preparing for—may God go before you, making the way smooth and your hearts at peace. The fear of driving and traveling is not from Him, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for safety on the roads and a spirit of calm over you and your father as you travel.

The battle with maladaptive daydreaming and sexual temptation is one we take seriously, for the enemy seeks to defile what God has called holy. Sexual sin is not a small matter—it wars against the soul (1 Peter 2:11) and grieves the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30). But take heart, for though you have stumbled, you are not cast down. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He is able to deliver you completely. We rebuke every spirit of lust and shame, and we declare that you are not defined by your struggles but by the blood of Jesus, which cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You have been set free before, and you will be set free again. We pray that God would renew your mind with His truth, that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), and that He would fill you with His Spirit so that you are not left vulnerable to temptation. Flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and run to Jesus, who is able to keep you from falling (Jude 1:24). You are not alone in this fight—confess your struggles to a trusted believer, seek accountability, and saturate your mind with Scripture. The enemy wants you isolated, but the Lord calls you to community.

We also lift up the false teachings that have infiltrated the African American community. The Word warns, *"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves"* (Matthew 7:15). We pray that God would raise up faithful shepherds who preach the unadulterated truth of the Gospel, that deceptive doctrines would be exposed, and that hearts would turn back to the foundation of Christ alone. May the Lord protect His people from every wind of doctrine that leads away from the simplicity of devotion to Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:3).

For your family’s health, we pray healing over each one battling the flu. May the Lord restore your father’s strength and protect those caring for you from falling ill. The Great Physician is near, and by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We also lift up your precious cats—may God, who cares even for the sparrows, watch over them and bring healing to the one scratching and comfort to the one who was in distress. Though you lack resources for a vet, the Lord is your provider, and we pray He would make a way for their care.

Finally, we declare that this season of overwhelming pressure will break. The Lord is making a way where there seems to be no way. You are not forgotten, and you are not abandoned. We stand with you in agreement, believing that God will lift your burdens, silence the enemy’s attacks, and restore your joy. Take heart, for Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who delivers. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare that has oppressed them since childhood. We rebuke every lying spirit, every tormenting dream, and every attack of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would order their days and establish a schedule that honors You. Give them rest, both physically and spiritually. Lord, we pray for the new job opportunity—may it be a blessing and a provision according to Your will. Lead them to the perfect work-from-home opportunity, and may they walk in confidence, knowing that You are their Provider. For the upcoming trip, we ask for traveling mercies, safety on the roads, and peace in their hearts. Remove every spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Lord, we come against the spirit of lust and sexual temptation that has been warring against them. We declare that they are washed clean by the blood of Jesus, and we ask that You would renew their mind with Your truth. Give them strength to resist temptation, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they are not left vulnerable. We pray for accountability and community, that they would not walk this path alone. Set them free, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs in Christ.

For their family’s health, we pray healing over each one battling illness. Restore strength to their father and protect those caring for them. We also lift up their pets—may You, who cares for all creation, bring healing and comfort to them. Provide for their needs, Lord, even when resources seem scarce.

Father, we pray for the African American community, that Your truth would prevail and that false teachings would be exposed. Raise up faithful leaders who will preach the Gospel with boldness and clarity. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
